That Smile (A Story)

It was 11th grade when it all started.

New people are coming, days passed...

Suddenly a girl came from the door,

Cute face, spectacles on.

There's no way of yours,

A thought came for a while,

But I was already attracted

With THAT SMILE!!

I expressed my feelings so early,

Thinking that she's the one merely,

So one day I told her clearly.

The answer came, made my heartbroken and trashed in miles,

But I still have hope,

Cuz the hope is THAT SMILE!!

She told me that we'll be best friends,

For a lifetime.

I accepted that, cuz it makes me close to her,

The days I've spend are never gonna blur.

It still hurt feelings of mine,

But don't want her to be sad,

Cuz the only lifeline is THAT SMILE!!

Its not a sad story cuz it is of a smile.

So, here comes a day came when a party was organised,

And the day I've felt the happiest in the year for the first time.

Dancing and having her in arms of mine,

Being that close to her felt like heaven that time,

Just wanted to stop the moment,

Cuz the thing I only wanted to see,

Is the beauty of THAT SMILE!!

Now 12th grade came,

Life is going simply,

And she'd never leave my side,

It always gave me, moments of pride.

Then there came a farewell bash,

Another party time.

I'm not interested in coming,

Cuz I didn't find her that evening.

But I went there cuz I want some free time.

And suddenly I saw an angel came.

That day I realized the real meaning of beauty,

Another year passed

And the beautiful thing which remains same, is THAT SMILE!!

The hope of making her mine,

Became just wait for the right time.

When there's no hope left,

She held my hand tight at midnight.

Something unexpected happened in our life,

Just want to thank her

For everything and for becoming mine.

She made my heart again in single piece,

By giving me real happiness I've ever needed

Now I'll love her for my lifetime,

And forever take care of her,

Though those memories are mine,

But given by a beautiful story of

THAT SMILE!!
