Memoirs
Memoirs
My heart still skip a beat
When those memories crowd
In my mind, or when we meet
Only the memoirs, wear a shroud.
Poignant with thoughts and songs
Those remembrances heal my mind
They rise from the grave buried long
Forever in fetters, they do bind.
Unseen tears glistened on my lashes
Like a pearl drop dew on a new leaf
Diamond stars glittering in the sky
Like a Beautiful story in brief.
Heart beats so loud that I can hear
The galloping rhythm of the song
The melody that I carry so dear
Is the music that was yours for long.
The pensive thoughts that
I gather in my mind
Are those that speak of love and pain
Somewhere we met, sometimes we lost
Ruminating those rustic words in vain.
I let go of those memories so old
Try to capture the scintillating moonbeams
I sit under the wide azure sky at night
And let them come to me in my dreams.
