Man's Repentance

The world is wailing over the ruin of nature

As the environment is degrading bit by bit

Due to man's unscrupulous exploitation

Only to satiate his sensual pleasures

Nature started to respond vigorously

Raining down the eerie pandemic

To remind the man's height of folly

And warn him of the dreadful aftermath

We are still reluctant to respond to it

It is high time we contemplated gravely

And put an end to this bafflement

To grow as many trees as we can.
