What To Do When Your Mother In Law

I, the poor little me, know only few recipes. I do the small cooking stuff like Dal, Sabji (fondly called uperi in Malayalam) with say spinach, brinjal, ladyfinger. I get to experiment on my poor husband. My hubby praises me no matter what. His compassion towards me is unlimited. He never beats me, never used bad words for me, so much humane, so much compassionate.

God only knows when I get to meet him. My marriage spanning 17 years gave me a healthy, innocent son. My son and my parents love me endearingly. I try to do small bit for them. Now since I got a job, I try to save each penny for them.

God knows how long will I live. But hope in my heart that I can help my family shamed by some of my past misdeeds.

I can never rub away my sins. My name, my sins will always remain etched in the minds of people.

A poor, innocent humble kid during my school, college days I turned so psychic cannot imagine how my path went so horribly wrong.

My parents brood for me. Each day they think about me, they live for me. Their thoughts and prayers for me are the most fertile.

I hope this lockdown eases so that I can just meet them, take my son to them for their endless love for us both. May God unite us.
