Values Matter, Not Greed....
Values Matter, Not Greed....
Once upon a time, there lived a rich family. They had everything that they wanted: a big house, cars, branded clothes everything. The owner was a businessman, who would reach out to the needy. A very kind-hearted person. But his two sons were just the opposite, except the younger one.
One day the owner had a sudden attack and passed away. Among his three sons, the elder one was already helping his father with the business, the second son was working abroad and the younger one was doing his final year in business administration. The cash and property were distributed to the elder and second son, but the younger one didn't get anything. He thought his father and brothers loved him equally and didn't bother to ask for a share.
One day his mother called him and said," Son, now you will complete your studies, so you should search for a job. Your brothers are reluctant to give you anything. Even the share of this house doesn't belong to you." The younger son was surprised as to how could his mother say this, but he quietly left the house and stayed in a
nearby rented house.
Slowly he started working and shifted to a new house bought by him. But he loved his mother a lot. So he would give an amount to her for her expenses.
One day as he was about to leave for work he saw his mother outside the house crying bitterly. He asked her what happened and she replied, "Son, your father and I brought you all up equally. But your greedy brothers took their shares and threw you out. I loved them a lot so I did what pleased them. But today they put me out of my own house saying that I am a burden for them. Where do I go now?"
Her son lovingly took his mother in and said, "I am still alive, and I will take care of you. When I was small you did everything for me. Now it's my turn. I cannot forget that you are the one who gave me life, because of you I breathe." Both son and mother hugged each other and cried on each other's shoulder.
Moral- Don't leave your parents for greed. Be like this younger son who had values in him. Today what you sow you shall reap...
