The Accident

In the middle of the night, strange, screaming sounds, l was shaking violently and suddenly I fell from my berth. Thud!! Complete darkness, I couldn't gather what happened. Only dazed, I tried to recollect, where I was. From the window I could see fire and fumes.  

I felt some one was helping me to get up. Yes it was my husband. I was shaken ,but managed to ask about my Mother in law. People were running ,shouting, " get out of train, it's an accident," and our bogey was tilting. Pheasants were helping us, with their pencil torch, to gather our belongings. We were assisted to climb down.  

We crossed the line, and heaved a sigh of relief. That was a miracle. Thank God.
