The Abandoned Girl

Rhea, who was a 17 year old girl right now, was sitting in her bedroom window and looking at nature by jotting down all she had done yesterday. Well, it was her 17th birthday yesterday, it was not a grand celebration but she believed and said that it was her best birthday ever. She had had a sleepover with her 2 best and closest friends. If there was anything best about this girl it was that she was very brave, always pointed out something good, never complained, very hardworking and what not. It is like you can not point out any mistakes from this girl, it was like she was almost perfect. Though, sometimes she was so moody. Anyways, her sleepover went well and no one disturbed her. But there was nothing done by her parent's side, it was only the sleepover she had had, nothing else. The cake cutting was done in her friend's house, her friend's mother had arranged a small surprise party for her and had made a gorgeous, yummy cake. The cake was red velvet, it was decorated very neatly. The icings had been so neat and clear that she could not help her admiration grow more for Olivia aunty (the friend's mother who had arranged the surprise birthday party). The cake was so spongy and felt very soothing in the mouth, she received 5 presents which were given by:

Olivia Aunty somehow had great care for Rhea, surprisingly more than even her mom. Her parents had been acting very strangely since the last 2 weeks. They had not been paying her more attention, forget attention even exchanging a few words. Even if they did say anything they would either scold her or tell her to go inside her room and lock herself until supper. Rhea thought that perhaps that they were really tense, so they were a bit disturbed about the work. She cried sometimes in the room by herself without sharing anything. She had not even gone down, most probably for a week or so until her friends had come and dragged her to Serinia's house, where had had the party. Then to be polite and to cheer herself up, she had called Serinia and Orioa for the sleepover and the dinner. When they came home her parents acted all good and fussy for Rhea but as soon as they left in the morning, she was given a big telling off. She still did not blame her parents, she felt sad for upsetting her parents very much. Her mother waved her off her dreams and told her to go and shut herself in the room. She remained patient and went into her room obediently and shut herself. Next morning, when she woke up, she climbed off from her cosy bed and wore her kitten home slippers and went outside, she never dared to go outside like that but today she had woken up her heart thumping, her mind screaming as if to her: "You are very bad, very bad." Though today she dared to go out like that. She found her parents sitting on the couch and staring at her as if she was the one to blame for all their problems. She found 2 suitcases besides them, a small handbag (which was hers) besides the suitcases. "Are we going on a vacation?" Rhea asked, feeling very lost. 

"No, we are not going on any vacation!" Her mother screamed, which made Rhea flinch slightly. "Oh okay, but what about these bags?" She asked pointing at the couch where the bags were kept. "It is your bags, you are going to get out of house! You are not going to live with us anymore, we can not tolerate you any further." Her father said his body shaking violently. "But-but, please don't do this to me, where will I stay? I don't know anyone, please I will be in my room all day long, I will not trouble you." "We have given you pocket money every week, so you must have little savings and with that help you can live, find a job for yourself, and if possible never show your wretched face again." Her mother sniffed. She went to her room, quickly dressed and grabbed her piggy bank and her suitcases and went to the door, she looked back several times but her parents were determined to not look at her or stop her. She scoffed at herself and left the house, she thought about all the moments previously.

Though, she couldn't even think about her parents deserting her fully. Although, sudden though like this came into her mind, Well, Rhea why be so surprised weren.t you suspecting their strange behaviour from about past two weeks? They never even treated you like a child, the always shut you in your room or acted very moody. And just then she herd everyone who she knew laughing at her because of her silliness and foolishness of showering her parents with immense love even though as a reward she either got a telling off or a "Shut yourself in your room!" "Well, tell me how am I being foolish? Because I love my parents so much but they never returned the same love? Do I have to get the ego in between parents? They have brought me up, given me such good manners, maybe they-they don't love me as much as I love them but they brought me up, you will se, they will come back and pick me, you shall see." She retorted back, even though she knew that would never happen..

She was thinking how would her parents live without her, on whom would they remove their frustration on? So, many things about her parents that she forgot she was walking on a road; she twisted only to see a car moving with such speed that even before she could think what to do she was hit by the car. The news of her accident reached to her parents and they rushed to the hospital where she was admitted, they went inside waited for her to wake up and hug them. She did wake up but only managed to say, "I-I lo-ove my-my parents, tell them that never to regret their decision." Then left her parents forever, later her parents grieved for her and realized the sin they had done.
