Rice

Once upon a time, there lived a farmer in a small village. The farmer worked hard to get his crops to grow. He worked 15 hours per day. Days and months passed, during monsoon season insects and birds started spoiling the crops the farmer was scared because of it. So the farmer started working for 20 hours per day. He was very tired.

Finally, the crops have been grown. He was very happy about it. So he started harvesting the crops. After harvesting the crops he sent the crops to the government. One day the farmer went to his relative's house. There he saw his son-in-law and his parents. Soon the time went down, the time was 1 pm. All of them started eating. The lunch was keerai rice (leafy rice).

He saw his son-in-law crying he asked him "why are you crying". He replied, "because I hate keerai rice". After everybody left the dining-room, the farmer started crying. His son-in-law saw that he is crying and asked him "why are you crying now" he said how hard he worked for the crops to grow". His son-in-law realized that he made a huge mistake and said to his uncle "sorry uncle hereafter I will not waste food" . They lived happily.
