Rashi And Space: The Mystery

CHAPTER II

Flashes of light sparkled here and there astounding everyone. There was indistinct chattering sounds about this unusual and obscure object floating and trying to land. But in an instant of light, the mysterious object vanished into thin air…

“This I have to solve….” Said Rashi.

But surprisingly, as soon as she said those words, Rashi found herself getting up from her bed with her mom shouting and reminding her to wake up.

“Wow! That was strange! A queer vision though!’ said Rashi.

“Honey, have you heard about the strange object that landed in your school yesterday?” asked Sari, her mother.

“Holy Banana Pants! Holy Jesus!” Rashi exclaimed, surprised.

“Tell that bullet head to shut her chanting mouth of Jesus! First that piece of garbage space-talk and now this!” yelled her father, busy with his morning prayers.

“Mom, the last time I saw the space thing was when it tried to land and disappeared. And now, I am here!?”

“Are you pulling our legs? Didn’t you come home and have your sandwiches yesterday?” said her mom, bewildered at her expression.

“Tie her to school now, will you? Am I the only one frustrated here about the waste of expense over this dirt bag‘s ‘education’? Giddy up or…”

“OK, OK!!” Chuckled Sari.

When she arrived school, she found Chuck and Haley doing something at the school backyard. Rashi wondered the commotion over there.

She marched over “Hi Chuck and Haley! What are you doing here?”

“Something that does not involve you!” yelled the envious Haley.

“Haley, be kind. Sorry Rashi, but we found these traces of some purple solution leftover from the landing of that weird space thing. Trying to research it...” Explained Chuck.

“I believe it is a solution of Methyl Isocyanate. Can tell by the look and color of it!” said Rashi.

“I do not know… But I think it’s another mystery left for us.”
