Lockdown Day 14

Today is the fourteenth day of the countrywide lockdown to fight Corona. It's been fourteen days of staying locked up in our houses. Bhagwan Shree Ram remained in forest for eliminating the evil from earth. This is Kalyuga, we humans are nowhere near the gods, we being mortals. For us, these fourteen day penance should be enough as an offering at the altar of the mother nature to provide us deliverance from this Pandemic.

Nature is benevolent, it gives us in abundance, if we are careless about its benevolence, it may take away all it's bountiful riches as it has done now. But if we are able to offer our penance in the form of a heart felt promise to be responsible citizens, it will again open the gates to all it's abundances.

We are following a daily routine of yoga, exercise, reading books, doing some online courses to remain in good physical and mental health. I am big fan of Ruskin Bond stories, which have given much succour in this hour of distress. So much so that his stories keep me from going insane! Hope all his gentle readers are able to enjoy life incarcerated in the homes, reading good stories about the people whose paths we cross in our daily life.

In the hope that we will see good days of freedom again and will find endless joys in the natural wonders.
