Kuldhara - The Mysterious Village

Kuldhara, a village in Rajasthan, once green and prosperous now standing desolate with a deadly silence prevailing around, a village where almost 1000 Paliwal Brahmans lived altogether. The inhabitants were leading a simple life and peaceful under the rule of the king of Amer, But due to the newly elected state minister - Salim Singh’s atrocities, like levying heavy taxes on the locals and troubling the ladies of the village, led the villagers to abandon the village overnight leaving their households behind. While leaving the villagers cursed the area that no one will ever be able to settle in this village happily.

Mysteriously after few a years when new people started to settle here, they would experience paranormal activities or become ill and eventually die. Due to these reasons the village pursued to be barren.

When the ASI investigation took place, shockingly no ruins or traces were to be found of the Brahmans or their descendants. Another mystery is that the neighboring villagers never saw the Kuldhara inhabitants entering their village for a stay.

Theories suggest that villagers disappeared in the air but there are no shreds of evidence proving this statement true. Recently when a group of paranormal activists spent a night in Kuldhara, they felt as if someone was touching them continuously and not letting them sleep; they also saw deep scratches on their car ruining the vehicle. Does this mean that the villagers still inhabit and haunt the village?
