Kingdom

Once there lived a ruler who lived his kingdom very dearly. He did everything perfectly to satisfy his people and the entire kingdom. He had two sons. The elder one was very kind and devoted towards his father and his kingdom. But the younger one engaged himself in various pleasure giving activities including gambling. Half of the kingdom was lost. The king was worried about his kingdom and the people who worshipped him. He decided to teach his second son a lesson. He called his sons. He told them to go and get to know about the conditions of his people.

One son started his journey towards the west and the other one towards the east. The elder son didn't take with him any wealth from his father, while the younger one took whatever he had with him. The people easily tricked the younger son and looted his wealth. He returned to his kingdom empty handed. But the elder son helped his people and worked for his welfare. The people impressed by his generosity gave him lots of grains, corn, wheat, barley and so many things in return.

Both of them returned to the kingdom. The younger son understood his fault. The king made him understand the importance of how to rule a kingdom.

Thus both of the sons ruled the empire after their father's death.
