Kate's Garden

Kate sat on the steps of her house.

Her pink cotton dress looked very pretty.

She had always wanted a garden.

That's when her neighbor Annie, called her over to her house.

‘Kate! Did you see the poster which was pinned on the school's pin-board?’

She asked.

‘No, what was written on it?’

Asked Kate.

‘That, we are going on a school trip to an open place, and we can participate in the garden challenge.’

Replied Annie.

Kate's face glowed with happiness.

The day came, in which the school was going on a trip.

Kate participated, and she took care of her plants.

When the teacher came to checking, Kate's heart started beating fast.

‘Kate’ said the teacher.

Yes! She had done it!

She can do anything if she wanted to!
