Once there was a greedy grocer in a small village. His name was Sukdev Das. In the whole village only he had a Grocery shop. So, the poor villagers had no other options and they had to buy all their daily necessary groceries from his shop. But Sukdev was a dishonest man who sold his goods at an unfair price and mixed stones in rice and pulses and coloured sand in spices. All the villagers complained to him but he turned a deaf ear to their pleas.

One day his son fell very ill and was admitted to a nearby village hospital. Sukdev was unaware that the man who sold medicine was just dishonest, just like him. All his money was spent in that hospital to save his son. Slowly he became helpless and broke down. All the villagers decided to donate some money from their savings and send the young boy to the city hospital for proper treatment.

Finally, His boy recovered soon and Sukdev realised his mistake and vowed to be honest from then on.

MORAL: Greed is never satisfied until it poisoned your entire soul.
