“Let’s play a game,” Ron shouted, my brother, after I, my dad and mom were done with supper. We all agreed to play.

Ron took out a coin from his pocket.

“So the game is, a dener will stand with hands back and eyes closed. The other person will press this coin to the dener’s forehead very hard, that it sticks there. Then the dener will do whatever he/she can in that position, so that the coin falls. We will see how much time it takes. So who’s the first dener?”

Immediately all eyes switched to me. It was not a hard game so, without saying anything I stood up and took the game position.

I felt the circular metal touch my forehead and then it was pressed so hard that I thought it will pierce my head and go in. But soon the pressing stopped and I couldn’t feel the metal, but I still felt the circular pressure on my forehead, so the coin was still there.

I opened my eyes, “The coin is stuck. Ready?” Ron asked.

Without replying I started shaking my head fast and also wrinkle and unwrinkle my forehead, so the coin falls. But it didn’t. Several minutes passed and my neck hurts from shaking. The others laughed their hearts out but the coin didn’t fall.

‘I am not able to do this simple task!’ I thought with frustration. Then the thought hit me. I stopped my struggles and looked up at Ron.

it earlier. He took the coin out of his pocket and confirmed my thought. Even though I was embarrassed and angry, laughter escaped my lips and I joined them rolling on the floor with laughter.
