Finding Marlin

NOTE – 1. This story is an imaginary self- written sequel of the most popular Disney Pixar animated Movies, FINDING NEMO (2003) and FINDING DORY (2016).

2. It has no connection to any such sequels with similar or different title predicted to be released in the future by Disney Pixar.

MAIN CHARACTERS-1.MARLIN – A male clownfish, overprotective father of NEMO.

2. NEMO- A 5-years-old male clownfish, only surviving son (As per Finding Nemo) of MARLIN and CORAL.

3. DORY- A regal blue tang with short-term memory loss, Friend of NEMO and MARLIN.

4. CORAL- A female clownfish, Marlin's wife and Nemo's mother. Thought to have died in a barracuda attack.

5. MARLIN JR. (Abbreviation of JUNIOR) – A 5-years-old male clownfish. Long lost son of Marlin.

6. CHARLES- Group leader of the clownfishes of the Great Barrier Reef and a Fish scientist

7. HANK- A cranky East Pacific red octopus, who is called a "septopus", having lost a tentacle. Replacement of MR. RAY as a teacher in NEMO'S school

8. RILL and MILL- Two clownfishes who are siblings. Friends of MARLIN JR.

9. DELPHIE, MARKY AND GROUP – The group of Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins who saved Nemo and Dory.

10. SCHOOL (group of fish is called as School) OF YELLOW SURGEONFISH – School of fishes who helped Nemo and Dory.

11. (TAD, a butterfly fish

SCENE 1 

The fascinating story starts with the sun rising above the magnificent blue Pacific Ocean. The soft rays of morning red, penetrate through the deep waters of the ocean to reach the plethora of colorful corals in the great barrier reef, Australia. Many sea animals and colorful fishes had started moving in large schools (common name given to a group of fish) making a bustle of interfering acoustic waves. Lying among the corals in the reef is a small Anemone inside which Nemo is still asleep mumbling something.

NEMO (mumbling in sleep)- "Mom, don't leave me. Don't go anywhere. Why are you going farther and farther? Mom, Mom, Mom, wait Mom…."

MARLIN (already awake)- "Nemo wake up. Wont you go to school? You would be late. Wake up Nemo. Nemo, wake up. NEMOO (shouts)."

Nemo woke up as if he came out of a frightful sight.

MARLIN- "You were mumbling something being asleep, what was that dear?"

NEMO- "Dad I saw a lady whom I called Mom. She was going away and away from me. More I tried going near, she started receding more and more."

MARLIN- "It was only a frightful dream, My child. Don't worry. Get ready quickly for the school. Else, you would be late."

NEMO- "Dad, I always ask and you always let my words go in fun. Dad, my every friend in school is dropped by their mother and father, both. Dad where is my mom and why is my lucky fin shorter than the other one?"

MARLIN- "I will answer, but not today. Now, quickly get ready for……"

Nemo interrupted Marlin

NEMO- "No dad, not today. You always say the same thing but never give answers to my interrogations. Tell me Dad. Tell me. Dad, please Dad."

Nemo started pestering Marlin to know the thing which he was kept away from, in the last 5 years. Meanwhile Dory, who lived in the nearby coral, said hello to Marlin and Nemo from a distance while approaching to enter into their Anemone.

MARLIN – "Dory, wait! Don't touch the Anemone. Stay away."

NEMO- "It will sting with its poisonous tentacles. Don't touch it Dory."

Till they warn her she had already touched the Anemone a bit and got stung by it.

DORY- "Ouch! Bad Anemone. Ouch!"

MARLIN- "How many time, do I have to warn you that only clownfishes can resist Anemone stings but not Regal Tangs? You don't remember anything which I say, Dory."

DORY- "Oh! Did you warn me earlier? Oh, so sorry, I forgot. You know I suffer from……"

Nemo interrupted

NEMO- "Short term memory loss and it runs across your family which at least you think. Is this what you wanted to say so?"

DORY (being surprised) - "Yes, but how did you know SEEMO?"

NEMO- "My name is Nemo; you always forget my name. Not only me the whole ocean knows about your memory loss. You go on telling the same thing to everyone at least once in fifteen minutes."

DORY- "Oh, sorry Nemo. Aren't you ready for the school? RANK would start teaching before you reach."

MARLIN- "Its HANK, Dory. Anyways, Nemo get ready as soon as possible."

Nemo rubbed his teeth and himself in the rough stinging tentacles of Anemone as an act of cleaning himself and fed on some algae in the nearby tentacles and got ready to go to school.

MARLIN- "Today, Dory would drop you to the school, Nemo. I have some important work."

DORY- "Come BINGO, I will drop you to school today."

NEMO- "My name in Nemo, Dory. Why Dad, what important work?(looking at Marlin) "

MARLIN- "We will talk after you come back from school. Now rush, else you would be late.

Bye, have a good day."

Nemo hugged Marlin. Both Nemo and Dory waved their hands to Marlin as they headed towards Hank's class in the nearby large diatomaceous ground.

MARLIN (to himself)- "If I tell the thing to Nemo, he would not let me go alone."

Scene- 2

Swimming through the waters of sapphire, Dory and Nemo reached Hank's class. Hank was just about to start the class. Nemo and Dory greeted Hank.

HANK- "Was going to start the class without you, Nemo. You are late. Ok now come quickly."

Nemo went to his place where he saw his friends TAD, PEARL, and SHELDON. They greeted each other

HANK- "Today we will learn about the Classes of sponges, so the 3 Class of sponges, can anyone tell me the names of those classes?"

DORY- "Yes, Yes, I will tell. They are Calcarea, Hexactinellida and Demospongiae."

HANK- "Dory, I was asking question to the students. You are not a student, I suppose.

So, as you have no work here, you can leave now, isn't it? (sarcastically)"

As Hank was talking to Dory, few kids started playing with Hank's tentacle. Hank was irritated and scolded the kids.

HANK- "Many times I have told you, kids, I don't like anyone touching my tentacles. Don't play with them. Now, everyone get back to your respective places. Shoo…., shoo……"

DORY- "Ok, let me leave. Bye HARPO and his class."

Nemo grunted on being called by wrong name and waved his hand. Dory headed towards her home.

While Dory accompanied Nemo to his school, Marlin went to an important meeting called by the group leader of the Anemonefishes of the Indo-pacific Reefs and a scientist.

CHARLES – "All my Intraspecific friends, the meeting is called to discuss the issue of Anemone bleaching and potential dangers of losing habitat by our fellow friends in the near future.

With increased temperature of water (ocean warming) and excessive incoming of harmful rays into the ocean, the Anemones are gradually losing the symbiont Zooxanthellae (unicellular Dinoflagellates). As a result, the Anemones are dying at a faster rate.

FISH 1- "It is a matter of great concern. Without Anemones it will be very difficult for us to protect ourselves from the mighty predators."

FISH 2- "If we will lose our habitat, where shall we breed and hatch our eggs. All our young ones will die before getting hatched."

CHARLES – "As far I have seen my friends on bleached Anemones, they produce fewer eggs, are unable to collect food and defend themselves properly. I feel, not only what is visible from outside but Anemone bleaching is affecting us inside too"

MARLIN- "But, who can save the Anemones and us?"

CHARLES – "You, Marlin! You and all of us will save the Anemones and our future so that we and our children don't face any problem."

MARLIN- "I? But how will I do this?"

CHARLES – "I am the oldest among you all and my experience and observations says that Anemones with a greater number of clownfishes are less likely to get bleached. We Anemonefishes provide food for Anemones which is also fed upon by the symbiont Zooxanthellae. This leads to their increase in number. Our movements in the Anemone do improve the aeration of the Anemone and help those mutual creatures. So, we are very important for Anemones."

MARLIN- "What is your action plan, Leader?"

CHARLES – "All the fishes will be divided into groups of 20 and they will be assigned Anemones which are under the threat of bleaching in near future of different regions across the Indo-Pacific regions. These groups will stay in their assigned place for a month and continuously swim across it to improve its aeration. After completion of a month the groups may return to home and there will be alternation of respective regions for the next month. This will continue till the Anemones are completely out of the danger of bleaching. After that the permanent inhabitants of respective Anemones, will take care of their habitat further. This is my full action plan. Do you all agree to it?"

FISH 3 – "Why only us, Sire why not any other species of fish."

CHARLES – "Then let your children be homeless unlike the children of other species. You know it very well that only we clownfishes have the ability to survive in the stingy Anemone because of mucilage covering on our skins. Moreover, Anemones are the most suitable habitats for us."

MARLIN – "How will I go, leaving Nemo alone. He is very young to protect himself. I can't leave him alone. So sorry Sire."

CHARLES- "Think wisely Marlin. When you will not be there to protect him and not even an Anemone he will find to stay. Will you like it? Nemo is no more very young. He is 5, half of the total lifespan a clownfish generally lives. You have to do it Marlin. Think deeply, and you will realize the urgency of the situation.

Apart from Marlin, is everyone other ready to implement the plan? Marlin I am giving you time to think, because I understand your situation."

ALL OTHER CLOWNFISH – "Yes SIRE, we will do it. We will save our future."

CHARLES – "Very nice. Thank you all of you for your determination."

Charles divides the fishes into groups and assigns them their place of their Anemones. Marlin along with his GROUP 17 was assigned the group of Anemones in the reef near BAY OF TOKYO, JAPAN. Charles was himself going as a member of GROUP 1. Everyone had to start their expenditure from the day after.

Everyone returned back to their homes. Marlin was put in ocean of thoughts and questions which troubled him. He tried to imagine Nemo's face, which would be, after listening to the news and also about the dangers which Nemo may face if Marlin went on the expenditure. All of these he thought as he navigated through the azure waters towards his Anemone.

 SCENE 3

When Marlin reached his home, he saw Dory talking to the fishes nearby to her home coral. He went silently to his Anemone without having a talk with Dory, being filled with the pool of thoughts that surfaced in his mind. Dory noticed Marlin being upset and went near and placed her anterior fin over Marlin's head.

DORY- "Why are you upset? Are you not well?"

MARLIN – "No Dory Nothing, I am well. Leave me alone. Go back to your coral."

DORY – "Solve a Riddle. I am an orange thing with 3 white stripes. Who am I? Tell, Tell."

MARLIN – "It's me. Now just……."

Dory interrupted

DORY – "Yes very Good, you are an intelligent clown fish. Now another Riddle, I am an orange thing with 3 white stripes and a sad face. Who am I?"

MARLIN (angrily) – "Now again it's me. Can you please stop irritating me Dory? You don't have any work but I do have. Just leave."

Dory with a poker face came towards Marlin who bowed his head with tension and sorrow.

DORY – "Hey Mr. Grumpy Gills. When life gets you down, do you know what you gotta do?        

 JUST KEEP SWIMMING. JUST KEEP SWIMMING. JUST KEEP SWIMMING, SWIMMING.        

WHAT DO WE DO? WE SWIIIM SWIIMM…. LA LALA LA WE SWIMM…."

MARLIN – "Dory I have heard your song earlier also. Now stop singing please. It's getting into my Head now. (Shouts angrily)."

Suddenly Marlin remembers something.

MARLIN – "Hey Dory, where's Nemo? The school must have got over by now. You didn't go to bring him back (in a tensed tone)."

DORY – "What, where is Nemo. Lost somewhere? How? When? Did you scold him?"

MARLIN – "Just shut up Dory, it's all my fault. I shouldn't have trusted a forgetful fish like you. How and where will be my child by now!!!"

As Marlin was just leaving the reef to find Nemo, Nemo arrived Infront of Marlin with his friends.

NEMO – "Dad, I am Home with my friends. Where were you going?"

Marlin tightly held Nemo with his both anterior fin and interrogated him in a strained tone.

MARLIN – "I was going to find you only. How did you come alone? You could have got trapped by any large predator. Why didn't you ask Hank to leave you home?                     

 Dory, you are very irresponsible. I gave only a single responsibility to you but you failed to fulfil it miserably."

NEMO – "Dad, don't scold Dory. Nothing happened to me. I am back home safely. I am five and I know how to swim and defend myself. Moreover, I was with my friends."

Dory suddenly remembers about accompanying Nemo to school and felt ashamed of forgetting to bring him back.

DORY – "I am sorry Nemo and Marlin. I didn't do it intentionally, I just Forgot. She bowed her face down.

NEMO – "Its ok Dory. No problem. Don't be sad."

Marlin didn't say anything and angrily went inside the Anemone.

NEMO – "What happened to him?"

DORY – "Let's go and talk to him."

When they went near Marlin, they saw him sobbing.

NEMO – "Dad, many a times you have realized that you need to make me free. Why don't you understand that now, I am an adult fish? I don't always require you to monitor me."

DORY – "It's good to be protective but not to be overprotective, CHARLIN. If you not let anything happen to him, then nothing will ever happen to him neither good nor bad. You need to let Nemo cope up with the ocean himself as all other fish do."

MARLIN – "It's easy advising Dory. You have not gone through what I have. I will tell you why I protect Nemo always. Nemo, you wanted to know about your mother and your small lucky fin today morning, right. Fine, I will let you know now itself."

Nemo and Dory gazed into Marlin's face being startled. Marlin continued

MARLIN – "Nemo, your mother Coral and all your other sibling died in a deadly Barracuda attack. Your Mother died in attempt to save all our eggs which were yet to hatch."

Dory interrupted

DORY (in a sobbing voice)- "Such an ideal mother."

MARLIN- "The barracuda attacked me, injured me and thrashed me into the Anemone."

Dory took a deep breath in terror and uttered a deep 'Oh' in grief. Nemo was only gazing without uttering any word as if he was in a deep trauma.                              

MARLIN- "When I came in sense, I found neither your mother nor any of our egg. Then I found, deep inside the crevice, where all our unhatched eggs were kept, one small egg, cracked on one side, was still there. It was you, Nemo. I took you in my fins and promised that Daddy (pointing towards himself) will take care of you always. Your lucky fin is the one which was present near the crack side of the egg. So, it is small."

Nemo and Dory lowered their head in consternation till Marlin completed. They wrapped their fins around Marlin to support him.

DORY – "I understand Marlin, that your past is very aching. You don't want to lose your only son. But you should know what a good parent is. A good parent is one who not only protects the child but also makes the child capable of protecting himself. You need to understand what Nemo feels. You can guide him and secure his future with whatever you can do but he has to live his life on own.

I suffer from short term memory loss; this is the reason I lost my parents but found them last year with your and Hank's help but my parents never restricted me from doing works, like a normal fish does. They found ways to empower me so that I can turn my disability into my power rather than being afraid of it throughout the life."

Marlin was put into great thought listening to Dory's words of enlightenment. He felt grateful to Dory for instilling his mind with positivity and solving his all problems with her innocent yet witty words.

With great courage Marlin spoke

MARLIN – "Nemo, I want to tell you something. I am assigned to go to THE BAY OF TOKYO under the "Anemone saving mission" by Fish scientist and clownfish leader Charles. I have to go there for this month and again a new place will be assigned to me the next month and this will continue till Anemones return back to their normal state from the threat of getting bleached. In these few months when I will be not at home, will you be able to live alone in the reef?"

Dory's words had convinced Marlin to large extent to go for the mission to save Nemo's future but still his heart said that Nemo would deny living alone without him.

While all these discussions were taking place, Charles arrived at Marlin's home to find him near Dory's coral. He reached there

Nemo, Dory and Marlin greeted him.

CHARLES – "What did you decide Marlin, about the mission?"

MARLIN – "Sir, I, I Decided that, that……"

Nemo interrupted

NEMO – "That he will go for the mission and save the Anemone. I am really happy that my father will save the Anemones and help many other fishes who may have to lose their habitat in future. Hank sir taught us about the mutual relation between sea Anemones and clownfishes.

Sire, Can I also go on the mission please??"

MARLIN – "No Nemo, you aren't going anywhere. Let me talk to Sir."

CHARLES – "You are so intelligent, Nemo. Ok if you also want to be part of the mission then you can be. You are assigned…."

MARLIN (with disgust) – "But sir he is child. How can he?"

CHARLES – "Calm down Marlin. Nemo, you are assigned to protect the Anemone present just beside you which is your home itself. That also needs protection from bleaching, isn't it? You protect your habitat till your dad returns. Ok??"

NEMO – "Ok, Sire"

DORY – "And sir I, I? I will also protect Anemone. I will protect the cutie, flower like Anemone."

CHARLES – "Dory, surely I would have included you but the problem is that you are a regal tang and you would get stung by Anemone."

DORY – "So the Anemones don't like me?? (with big eyes teary eyes)"

CHARLES – "No, no they like you very much, so they don't want you to do much labor but just look at them but from a distance. Understand??"

DORY – "Umm, let me think. Yes, Yes sir, I understood."

CHARLES – "Good. So, Marlin be ready to go to your assigned place tomorrow morning. Now I shall leave.

BYE Nemo, Dory and Marlin

All three of them – "Bye, bye sir"

MARLIN – "Nemo and Dory, I would like to talk to you regarding this.                         

So, Nemo, when I leave, I want you to just go to school from the Anemone and come back into it. No other outings! Do you understand?  Now, in school, be under guidance of Hank. Don't go to unknown places with your friends.     

Don't talk to any unknown animal. They may be predators. Understand?

Now, coming to Dory, take care of my son till I come back please. This time don't let my belief on you dwindle on any circumstance. I know you will always protect my son. I am leaving my son only under your guidance. Do you understand?"

NEMO AND DORY – "Yes Father, understood completely."

DORY- "Wait, wait, whose father, yours or mine??"

NEMO – "Off course, my father. He is my father not yours, Dory."

DORY – "Oh yes, your father, CHIPPO."

MARLIN – "Its Nemo. Anyways, both of you live together and take care of each other. Dory do not try to touch the Anemone.

 I will be back in a month, till then stay safe. Okay?

Dory return back to your coral, now and Nemo, go to bed. It's already night and I have to leave tomorrow morning itself. GOOD NIGHT, Nemo and Dory."

DORY – "BYE, GOOD NIGHT, TA, TA."

Scene-4

As dawn rays of rising sun start falling on the Great barrier Reef, Marlin makes himself ready to go on the exploration. He puts his fin lightly across Nemo's face, who was still asleep. He didn't want to disturb Nemo's sleep, so he stealthily marched out of his Anemone. For once he looked back to see Nemo and rotated his head lateral to see Dory sleeping in her coral home. Without making any further delay, he swam to the meeting place of clownfishes. There he went to the fishes of Group 17. All the 20 groups which had gathered at that place wished luck to each other for a safe and successful journey.

CHARLES – "Wish all luck to all the brave fishes who have decided to work for the noble cause. Remember, group work can be made a success only by proper understanding, care and coordination among its group members. Do take care of your group members and stand by them in situations of need.                                                                       

Now all the groups can march towards their assigned places."

Marlin along with his Group 17 started their journey through the mighty navy liquid of ocean towards the BAY OF TOKYO.

GROUP 17 – "PASSING THE REEF, TO FADE THE GRIEF,                                                                                                 

 FIGHTING THE ENEMY, TO SAVE ANEMONE                                                                                               

 WE MARCH, MARCH, MARCH THROUGH THE FEVER OF RAYS,                                                                             

TO REACH THE WATERS AT TOKYO BAY.                                                                                                    

ORANGE IS THE COLOUR BUT STRIPES ARE WHITE.                                                                                      

  WE SWIM THROUGH THE WATERS TO MAKE IT RIGHT.                                                                                  

  WE MARCH, MARCH, MARCH THROUGH THE FEVER OF RAYS,                                                                             

TO REACH THE WATERS AT TOKYO BAY."

The group of clownfish bravely proceeded towards the bay, singing and swaying throughout their way. All of them had a shine in their eyes and energy in their body to work for the betterment of themselves and their future generations to come.

While all of these took place, Marlin had only a thing in his mind, that was about Nemo. 

IN THE GREAT BARRIER REEF  Nemo woke up and started searching for his dad by calling him aloud. He searched for Marlin in his Anemone, nearby his home and also in Dory's coral but couldn't find him anywhere.

He shook Dory with his small fin, so that she wakes up.

NEMO – "Dory, where is Dad? I am unable to find him anywhere. DAD, DAD, where are you DAD?"

DORY – "DAD, DAD, where are you? DAD, DAD, listen DAD."

NEMO – "Dory, I am searching for my dad, Marlin and not your dad."

Suddenly Nemo remembered something.

NEMO- "Oh, Dory I remember, that today dad must have gone to The Bay of Tokyo for his mission. Sorry, I forgot. Dad always wakes me up but today as he didn't, I panicked but couldn't instantly recall about his mission. Dad didn't even bid me a goodbye before going. (With a grieved voice)"

DORY – "Now, Now, Boy, its ok. Now, get ready. You have to go to school, right!"

NEMO – "Yes, Yes wait for some time. I am coming."

DORY – "Be fast, BIMO"

NEMO (with a grumpy face) – "Oh! It's just Nemo."

Nemo quickly got ready and both He and Dory started from home for Hank's class. They reached the diatomaceous ground (site of the school). Today they weren't late. Hank arrived the next moment and greeted all the students as well as Dory. Dory bade goodbye to Hank and Nemo and started back to her coral.

HANK – "Dory, don't forget to pick Nemo up after the class. Ok?                                     

Nemo, don't go anywhere out of my sight. Your Father has told me to take care of you in the class. Do tell me in case of any trouble. Understand?

Nemo nodded his head in approval.

Dory returned back to her coral and throughout her way towards her coral, she chanted, "Nemo is in school. I will pick him up as school gets over. Nemo is in school. I will pick him up as school Gets over. Nemo……"

After few hours,

The school got over and Nemo was sure that Dory would have forgotten about him. But to his amazement Dory had come to accompany him back to home.

NEMO (surprised) – "Dory, you remember to pick me up from school. It's a miracle."

DORY – "Your father will throw me out of the reef if I don't remember his son. Now let's go."

On the way back home Nemo and Dory chatted with each other.

DORY – "What was taught in the school today?"

NEMO – "Today, sir taught us about ocean acidification. He told how increase in acidity of water due to dissolution of carbon dioxide in the ocean is leading to death of several fishes. He also told that if this continues, then your coral may dissolve and you will be left without a place to stay.

Do you know, due to acidification, we may even die swimming across the ocean! (His eyes wide open)"

DORY (with surprise and fear) – "Whaaaaat? Is it so? Where will I go then? Oh no, I am dead.

 Are my eyes open or am I dead?"

NEMO – "Calm down Dory, you are pretty much alive. It will take time for situation to worsen. Till then let's pray that the situations revert and we all become safe."

DORY – "Thanks Ne.., Nem... Wait, what is your name? Anyways, hope the situation never worsens."

NEMO – "Dory, my name is NEMO. Now chant it 10 times so that you remember it. Ok."

DORY – "Nemo, Nemo, Nemo, Nemo……. Bingo, Bingo. No, no sorry Nemo (by tapping her head). Yes, I will remember, don't worry."

NEMO (being a bit sorrow)- "Dory, I am missing dad very much."

DORY – "Oh, Nemo.

 Nemo (with amazement), wait I took your name correctly, OH YEAH.

Oh, what was I telling? (Scratching her head). Umm… umm..., yes, I was telling that don't be sad Nemo, your dad would return. Just one month. I know you are a brave boy. You can share your feelings with me anytime anywhere. Ok?"

Nemo nodded as both of they reached their homes. Dory waved goodbye to Nemo as he went into his Anemone.

Meanwhile in the mission, Marlin and group passed through the ocean covering great distances.

 Marlin observed, throughout the way, several Anemones and corals which once were lively and colorful, had reduced to White wretch. The sea kelps and algae had blackened. These all sights were so disturbing to look at, for Marlin.

A thought came to his mind, "Very soon the marine creatures would face the wrath of ocean. They would receive the brunt and punishment of a mistake which they hadn't committed". He lamented the future situation of his ocean mates and desired to express his anguish on the human beings for the sake of whom, they were suffering. He prayed God to protect them all.

Suddenly he started feeling insecure thinking about Nemo's future. As all the evil premonitions started surfacing his mind. He diverted his mind towards the sing song of his group to make himself feel lighter.

Within a week, the group reached the large group of Anemones in a reef present in one of the busiest bays, THE BAY OF TOKYO, JAPAN.

SCENE-5

All the fishes of group 17, after reaching the reef, chose a suitable Anemone and started living in it.

They swam and made various movements in the Anemone just as instructed by Charles. Each Day the Anemones were exchanged by the fishes in rotation.

The work was tiring but the group did it determinedly and with full zeal. The effect of their hardwork started becoming visible in few days.

Within a week, the Anemones started getting back the bright color of their tentacles due to increased growth of Zooxanthellae, which were earlier, fading continuously. In fifteen days, the tentacles grew stronger and thicker. Due to the presence of colorful clownfishes, several other species started entering Anemone which acted as prey for them. With the completion of 30 days, the reef was again shining with its colorful, flower like sea Anemones, swinging in the ocean with its branched tentacles dancing with waves of water. But to maintain this freshness of Anemone, efforts of some more months was needed that would be done by the group, which would be assigned the reef in the next month as per the action plan.

It was a grand success for the group 17 fishes, happiness of which they shared by swaying their fins together with various tunes and sounds which filled the ocean with acoustic of harmony.

Meanwhile in the GREAT BARRIER REEF, Nemo and Dory followed a daily routine of leaving Nemo to his school and bringing him back. After coming back from school, Nemo would sway across his home Anemone as instructed by Charles. He would do his duty happily. After that he would go to Dory's coral where they would chat, in which, Dory would entertain Nemo by telling several stories of different animals and incidents. Many a times she repeated the same story for several days, forgetting that she had already told the same to Nemo before. Nemo would often laugh out to the funny stories told by Dory to him. At night both would wish each other good-night and go to sleep in their respective habitats.

It had become a monotonous job for Nemo and Dory. But both enjoyed being with each other. They eagerly waited for Marlin to come back home so that they can share their experiences with each other. Dory was exceptionally keen to meet Marlin so that she could show him that she had managed everything properly with forgetting much things, unlike Marlin thought of her.

Scene – 6

It was the time for the group to return back to their homes so that they can be assigned a new destination for the next month. They started from the reef with a new sing song

GROUP 17 – "BACK TO THE HOME,                                                                                                                        

FROM WHERE WE COME.                                                                                                                    

TO RELEASE THE TIRE,                                                                                                                   

  AND FULFILL DESIRE,

The whole group happily swam through the ocean singing joyously, happy to return back to their own habitat and meet their own families. Marlin's happiness knew no bound. He only imagined Nemo's face and was eager to meet his son after long span of a month.

Meanwhile in the great barrier reef, Nemo and Dory knew that it was an end to their wait of 30 days. Sitting in their habitats, they just looked towards the azure waters, thinking that Marlin could arrive at home anytime soon. They were very happy and excited.

On the way back to home, The group passed through the busy bays of Asian countries on their way back. These bays are known for their increased levels of pollution and humongous disposal of carbon rich industrial waste into the ocean. The fishes unaware of such facts paved their way through these waters.

All of a sudden, sounds of fishes started to blur, as for Marlin. As if the sing song of group was getting fainter time after time. Marlin looked here and there in amazement. His senses started to become weak. It was difficult for him to follow other members of his group in the path. He looked around to find some more fishes facing the same problem. Though difficult, he tried to follow trail of his group members so that he doesn't get lost.

When his senses were completely out of his control, he couldn't move any further. He waited for some time in hope that he would be back to normal in some time. But when he looked around after sometime, he could no longer find his group. Probably they went ahead without sensing Marlin's absence.

As he went forward a bit, coping up with his disfigured senses, he found, very few clownfish moving here and there in different directions but the group wasn't visible. He tried to follow some of the clownfishes but all were scattered and swam in water as if hallucinated.

Marlin went in a straight direction in the water, in hope of finding the group. As he navigated through the water, he found that the color of water started changing from a pure sapphire to hazy emerald. He could see not much sea creatures there. Looking up to the surface he found some large dark patch concealed the light from entering the water.

Unknown to him that he had already entered the GREAT PACIFIC GARBAGE PATCH (a site of unusually intense collection of man-made marine debris, accumulated from different places across the ocean), which is a region of high-pressure surrounded by the NORTH PACIFIC SUBTROPICAL GYRE, due to the four prevailing ocean currents: the North Pacific Current to the north, the California Current to the east, the North Equatorial Current to the south, and the Kuroshio Current to the west. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) defines a gyre as a large system of swirling ocean currents.  

As he passed through the region, he started feeling more uneasy. He was feeling chocked. He started breathing forcefully to intake more and more of fresh air, but nothing worked. He felt as if his end had come near. For one last time, that he closed his eyes voluntarily, a flash of images of his journey of life started to surface in his mind just like a short film. He could recollect his happy moments with Coral, her death and hatching of Nemo, his journey to find and save Nemo along with Dory, who became so familiar to them in such a less time, his journey to help Dory find her parents and his last meet with Nemo before leaving for the mission.

After this his eyes closed involuntarily, with mind completely blanking out. For him, it was as if his curtain of life was falling down.

In the great barrier reef, Fishes of different groups had returned back to the meeting place of clownfishes. Charles had also returned and presided the meeting. He counted fishes of groups to find shortage in no. of fishes in some groups especially, the groups sent to the bays of NORTH PACIFIC and NORTH ATLANTIC OCEANS, which are surrounded by the most industrially and economically prosperous countries. Even Charles could find that many returned fishes from these areas have fallen extremely sick. This made him very disheartened.

CHARLES (with a distressed face) – "Very Sorry. Never expected this to happen.

I beg apology to all of you, for putting you all in trouble, being a leader. I have failed miserably to ensure the betterment of my fellow mates. To save future, I sent the present to die. I am ashamed of my deed. I thought for good but it turned to create havoc for all of you.

But I want to disregard the integrity and team spirit of the healthy returnees because they didn't look for their fellow mates who have disappeared somewhere in the middle of the journey. They could have come together and helped those who had fallen sick in the way. Those fishes might have lost their way as a consequence of their poor health.

Just learn from my group 1 members, the number of fish went to the mission is the same as those who returned back because not only me but also all the fishes in my group cared for each other. They tried to heal the sick ones and kept them under tender care till they safely reached their homes.

What will I answer to the family members of those fishes who have disappeared?"

Charles bows down his head in dismay. He was grieved thinking that it was his plan which led to disappearance (probable death) of many brave fishes who supported him in the mission.

Charles went specially to the habitats of those fishes who had disappeared, to inform their family members about the news. Some families accepted the fact with grief in heart while some took time but finally accepted the loss. Many even didn't had families. The most tragic reaction came from Family of a fish who was earlier reluctant to go on mission but was happily persuaded to go on the mission by his own son, thinking that his father would help many by serving the noble purpose, it was Marlin.

Nemo and Dory's excitement was increasing with time as they thought Marlin's arrival came nearer.

Suddenly, a large clownfish arrived. Dory saw this and informed Nemo.

DORY – "See Nemo, your father is arriving. Rush and hug him. He is back after so many days."

NEMO – "No Dory, it's not Dad. It's someone else."

As the fish came closer to Nemo's Anemone, Nemo recognized him to be Mr. Charles.

Nemo greeted him

NEMO – "Sir, where is my dad? Probably all groups must have returned by now. Is he on way to home? Sir, see how I have also taken care of my Anemone and protected it from bleaching. (Showing his home Anemone)."

CHARLES – "Nemo and Dory, I…, I want to inform you that, that… Marlin has disappeared somewhere in the way.

Please forgive me. I know it's difficult for you to accept the truth and forgive me but please try to understand."

NEMO – "Sir, I know Dad must be on the way. How can he disappear? He may be late but he knows the way back to home.

Isn't he the same person who had crossed the whole ocean, fought all predators and overcame all the problems, when I was taken by the dentist's ship? (reference to Finding Nemo)"

DORY – "Yes sir, Marlin will come back. Let us wait at least for today before reaching to a conclusion."

CHARLES (in a tone of dismay) – "I hope, what you are telling is correct Nemo, and Marlin reaches home safely. This is also, what I want. Do tell me if you face any problem."

Charles bade goodbye to Nemo and Dory and with a sad and hopeless face went away from their home.

Nemo and Dory waited for the day praying God, to help Marlin return back to home. Both of them had become so silent and sad that they didn't talk to each other that day which they usually did in these last 30 days.

Nemo went to school the next day but couldn't read properly as his mind was filled with thought of Marlin. When, till the dusk even, Marlin didn't return, Nemo could no longer resist the sorrow and started crying.

Hearing Nemo cry, Dory went near him and flung her fins around his face.

DORY (with a sad face) – "Nemo, don't cry. Nothing would have happened to Marlin. Brave boy, don't cry."

NEMO – "Dad is not returning. I want to meet him. Much time has passed to the return of the other fishes but dad has still not come. Shall I lose my Hope and accept that dad would never come?"

DORY (Making herself strong) – "If you lose hope, then you would be not called Marlin's son in true sense.

 When you got lost, Marlin crossed the whole ocean to find you. Your father had become an inspiration for all the marine creatures for his determination and his bravery to find his son. Not only marine but also land creatures called your father an 'IDEAL FATHER'. Now, it's your turn to become an 'IDEAL SON'. We will find him.

Make yourself strong and show your courage because we are starting the journey of 'FINDING MARLIN'."

Nemo wiped his sorrow drops and made himself determined to find his father with help of Dory, to repeat the history but, with a role reversal.

SCENE-7

With a new dawn, the soft rays of red sun cross the mighty blue to reach the reefs. In the reef present are large colorful varieties of corals and poriferans. On top of corals lies several, Anthozoan - Sea Anemones, oscillating their colorful tentacles like petals of flower, lurking their prey to come near them so that they can start their day with a heavy and meaty breakfast. Somewhere among these Anemones present is a small one having violet tentacles, in base of which lies an orange sensation. Now wait...…, 

Oh yes! it's a clownfish. As sun rays fall on the orangie, its start to open its eyes looking here and there with a gaze of amazement.

MARLIN – "Where am I? Who saved me?"

A SMALL YOUNG CLOWNFISH – "Hey, see he is speaking. (Pointing Marlin to his mother). You are in the TUBBATAHA REEF, PHILLIPINES.

 I and my friends saved you. We found you unconscious below the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Do you love eating garbage? Why did you go there?"

HIS MOTHER – "I am going to the neighboring Anemone to inform about his (pointing to Marlin) wellbeing to your friends. Ok? Till then take care of him and yourself."

MARLIN – "Thank you so much for saving me, Boy. I want to return back to my home. My child would be worried about me. So, I am going. Bye."

As Marlin leaped out of his Anemone, he went to some distance but found out that he couldn't remember way back to his home. He had lost his direction sense in the accident.

Behind him the young Anemonefish came swimming as fast as he could and asked him to stop.

YOUNG CLOWNFISH – "Hey, Wait. Where are you going? Wait till mother comes."

Marlin looked back at him with eyes of desperation having lost his direction to home.

MARLIN – "Hey, I have lost my direction sense. What will I do now? How shall I return back? He started weeping."

The young clownfish gazed at him and put his fin around Marlin's face.

YOUNG CLOWNFISH – "Oh! Don't worry so much. I and my mother will help you return back. Don't cry."

He took Marlin back with him to the reef where Mother of the young clownfish was waiting for him already.

MOTHER – "Are you sad (Pointing towards Marlin)?"

MARLIN (with disgust and shouting) – "Who me? No, no, I am very happy, away from my home, my son and now I don't have a way back to my home. It would have been better, if I would have died."

He put his own fin on his head bowing down his head in grief.

MOTHER – "Don't say so. Its ok, I understand. Please be calm."

MARLIN (realizing himself to be rude) – "I am sorry.

 You saved my life and I talked rudely to you out of anguish. Actually, I am very tensed."

MOTHER – "Many a times you would face situations like this. You need to stay calm and wait for the right time. Everything would be good."

Listening to such words of the female fish, reminded Marlin of Dory, and her song, 'JUST KEEP SWIMMING', started playing in his mind.

MOTHER – "You have lost your direction sense probably due to the much lower PH of water in these Asian bays of Pacific Ocean, due to ocean acidification. Most of the fishes of distant areas, who visit this area face the same fate as they aren't acquainted with such highly acidic water.

Then you choked due to intake of microplastics through your gills and mouth in the region of great pacific garbage patch. Generally, no fish goes to that region. Why did you go? "

Marlin narrated the whole story of mission to the mother-son duo.

YOUNG CLOWNFISH – "Mother, he is so brave. He came here for purpose of saving other clownfishes' life. I will also become a fish like him."

MOTHER – "Surely you will become one of such fish who saves others' life. That day I will feel so happy and proud."

MARLIN – "Hey Kid, where is your father? Did he also go on such a mission?"

YOUNG CLOWNFISH (bowing down his head) – "I…I... have never seen my father. I have only my mother with me."

MARLIN – "Oh! I am so sorry kid. I didn't mean to hurt you. I am also sorry to you, Madam (looking at the female clownfish bowing her head with sorrow)"

MOTHER – "No, No its ok. It has been much time. We are acquainted to answer the same question regularly to strangers. So, no problem."

MARLIN – "By the way, I forgot something. Kid what's your name?"

YOUNG FISH – "I am MARLIN JR.(JUNIOR). You can call me JUNIOR only. It is what my mother calls me."

Marlin was taken aback. Soon, a flashback of the day, when he and Coral decided the names of their eggs before their hatching, came to his mind. He planned to name half of them as MARLIN JR. and other half as CORAL JR. but Coral liked the name Nemo.

Marlin looked at the female fish with amazement as he could sense her to be his wife whom he thought to be dead in the last five years.

MARLIN (looking at the Female fish) – "Coral, is.. is it you? You are ali...alive?"

The female fish could also sense familiarity and recognized Marlin immediately.

CORAL (With shock) – "Marlin, it's you?"

Marlin placed both the fins round Coral as both of them shared an emotional moment.

MARLIN – "Where were you in the last 5 years. Why did you never return back to home?

And my son……"

Marlin rubbed his fin across Marlin Jr.

The young one could not sense, what was actually going on. With a questioned face he looked towards his mother.

CORAL – "He is your lost father, son. Your father, for whom you craved for the last 5 years, is infront of you Junior."

MARLIN – "I always thought that you and all our other eggs, except one with, me that is of Nemo, died in the barracuda attack. Nemo always craved for a motherly affection. But I acted as his mother and father both just as you did for Junior."

CORAL – "I didn't die in the Barracuda attack.

 The Barracuda attacked our eggs. So, to protect it I went to the crevice, where our eggs were kept. I wanted to grab the eggs, to take them to a safe place but unfortunately, I could save only one egg which was got cracked on one side in the attempt of saving it from that Giant devil. I swam away fast from that place with that one egg, so that the barracuda doesn't get me by following. Swimming long distances to find a suitable place, I settled down in this reef, which was earlier unpolluted and a great place for us to live."

Marlin also, told Coral, his part of the story of finding a cracked egg deep down that crevice and saving it, which eventually hatched and was named Nemo.

He narrated all the adventures he had undertaken with help of Nemo and Dory. Junior was amazed listening to such amazing adventure stories.

CORAL – "Who is Dory?"

MARLIN – "Dory, is a blue regal tang, who suffers from a short them memory loss which runs across her family, as far as she thinks so.

She is wonderful. She is the one who helped me get back my Nemo, when he was taken by a human's ship. She taught me the actual meaning of being a good parent. She is fun loving and Mischievous but at the same time very determined and caring.

After that barracuda incident, I was completely alone but it was Dory, who supported me all the time and helped me and Nemo to overcome our loneliness."

Marlin looked at Marlin Jr. and found his one fin to be short just as Nemo's. He understood that it was because of the crack in egg, before hatching.

MARLIN – "I will also call you Junior. Is it ok?"

MARLIN JR. – "Yes, Dad. It is great."

MARLIN – "Good. Hey, Coral you know our earlier home, right? So, you can show me the direction back home and we all can return back to our original home, including you and Junior."

CORAL – "No, I don't want to return to that place. That place is a bad omen. 

You may return but not now. You are still very weak. Once you become a bit healthy, you may get back your direction sense and then you may return to Nemo.

MARLIN – "But Coral, Nemo would be tensed."

CORAL – "Nemo is 5, just like my Junior; he will manage it without you for some days. It will take you maximum a week to heal. So that's not much time. You may go after that."

She and Junior continuously persisted Marlin to stay there so, Marlin had to agree, but he did half-heartedly as he was very much tensed about Nemo.

Scene- 8 

While the rays of Dawn on one side, helped a husband meet his lost wife and a father meet his long-lost son but on the other side made a son determined to find his lost father and prove himself an IDEAL SON.

Nemo and Dory were going to start their journey out of the Great Barrier Reef to find Marlin. Just as they were about to start, someone came infront of Nemo's Anemone.

It was Charles.

CHARLES – "Nemo and Dory, I am happy that you are going to find Marlin but I would be more pleased if I was given a chance to revert my mistake by helping a son meet his father. It would be an apt repentance for me if I join you in this journey.

NEMO – "Sir, it was never your fault. Your decision was for betterment of the whole species. Being a leader, you needed to think about whole community and not a single fish. You did that perfectly sir.

You didn't only advise the fishes but also took part in the mission yourself becoming the greatest inspiration for other fishes of our community.

Being the senior most fish of the community, I feel you should take rest after the tiring work of 1 month. You showed your interest to join, that is enough to encourage us for our journey. Sir, I don't want to put your life at any risk because, if my life goes then, it won't affect the community, but if your life goes then, it will put the whole community at risk of losing such an efficient leader."

CHARLES – "Nemo, please don't deny. I really want to help you. I understand what you say but believe me I want to support you throughout this journey."

NEMO – "Ok sir, how can I deny you. If you insist then you can join us. I am grateful to have such a knowledgeable and experienced person to help, me and Dory in this journey.

All of the three started their journey from the reef. They travelled through the ocean crossing several fishes, rays, Mollusks, sponges, corals, sea stars and other beautiful marine creations of God whose lives are put in peril by the activities of the so-called "most intelligent social animals" created by the same God.

DORY – "Nemo see, see a beautiful fish. I will call it Dainty. Daintiee…"

As Dory was going to touch the fish, Charles exclaimed.

CHARLES – "Dory, wait. Don't touch it. It's a pufferfish. Its spine has poison. It looks amazing but it is highly dangerous. Don't touch it."

DORY – "Oh! Dangerous Dainty. So bad."

As she told this the pufferfish puffed up like a ball exposing its spines.

As Dory saw this, she leaped away from it with haste. Nemo and Charles laughed at such behavior of Dory.

They continued their journey towards the Tokyo Bay, the place which Marlin was sent to, in the mission.

Still not much distance from the Great barrier reef, Charles started gasping and breathing forcefully. Being aged and having done a strenuous job throughout the last month, Charles' body could no longer bear the exertion of another journey. Though he continued the journey alongside Nemo and Dory, concealing his own problems, but Nemo could sense his problem.

NEMO – "Sir, you aren't well. Please go back to home sir, we aren't much away from the reef. Sir please don't deny. Your health is very important for me and the whole clownfish community. If father would have been there, he would also have said the same thing."

CHARLES – "Please Nemo, let me continue the journey. I am all ok. Don't worry."

NEMO – "Sir, don't you believe me. If you think that I am capable to finding my father, then you would go back and if you don't believe my determination, you can stay with us. Without your decision, I won't continue further."

CHARLES – "I have full belief on your determination. But I really wanted to help you. If me continuing this journey will show you as incapable, then I would surely return back. I have full faith on you. You are Marlin's son. You are very strong and brave.

Dory take care of my Friend's son."

Dory was busy touching the corals and fishes and enjoying the beauty of creatures, while all this serious discussion was going on.

CHARLES – "I said Dory take care of Nemo. Will you?"

Dory suddenly looked at Charles.

DORY – "Yes, yes sir, I will take care of Harpo. Oh no it was Nem… Umm?"

CHARLES – "Nemo."

DORY – "Yes, yes Nemo."

CHARLES – "Nothing can be done of you Dory. Take care Nemo, of you and also of Dory."

DORY – "Bye sir, Bye-Bye"

Charles returned back to the reef while Nemo and Dory continued the journey further.

While Nemo was highly determined to find his father, Dory enjoyed each moment throughout the way, though sometimes irritating Nemo.

NEMO – "Dory, can we focus on our journey for some time. Don't you care for my father."

DORY – "Oh! Grumpy boy. You are grumpy just like your father. Ok tell me, what was the place we were heading to, Hawaii bay or was it, Sydney. Oh, I remember, you know when you were lost, we found you at P… P… Yes, yes, it was P Sherman, 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney."

NEMO (shouting) – "Dory, can you remain silent for a second? You are irritating me. If you aren't interested in the journey, better leave me alone and return back to your home. It would make my work easier. You understand."

He shouted on Dory and went forward without accompanying Dory. Dory followed Nemo and tried to make him calm.

DORY (with an upset face) – "Nemo, Nemo listen. I am sorry. Don't go leaving me behind. Teamwork improves efficiency of work. Will you leave me alone?"

Seeing Dory's Big and water filled eyes, Nemo's heart melted on Dory's innocence.

NEMO – "Well, we are going towards Tokyo Bay, Japan. Now remember it."

DORY (started murmuring and memorizing by closing her eyes) – "Tokyo Bay, Japan Tokyo Bay, Japan, Tokyo Bay……….

Yes, yes now I won't forget it. Its Tokyo Bay, Japan. Oh yeah. See I remember it. Don't leave me alone, Nemo."

NEMO – "Don't worry. I won't leave you alone in the journey. We will find Dad together. Ok?"

DORY – "Yes boss. Ok, ok."

As both passed through the ocean, they saw a school of yellow surgeonfish.

NEMO – "Hello everyone, I am Nemo. Do you know the way to Tokyo Bay, Japan?"

The Surgeonfishes looked at Nemo and ignored him. Nemo could not decipher their behavior.

DORY – "Wait let me talk. Hey, yellow brothers. He is Nemo and I am Dory." 

Saying this, she raised her caudal spine up.

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES – "Hi, how are you. How Can we help you?

Nemo was amazed on their response to Dory's talk.

DORY – "It is a very sad story. 

You know he lost his father (pointing to Nemo). He is finding his father. Can you please help him get his way to The Tokyo Bay, Japan? Oh! See such a sad boy (again pointing to Nemo)"

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES – "Oh! This is so sad. You know our leader also lost his father. So sad. You made us really emotional."

DORY – "Aww! So sad. Did your leader find his father?"

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES – "No, to get his father, he needed to enter a Shark's stomach."

DORY – "Oh my goodness! Did he enter?"

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES – "No, He couldn't as the shark's stomach was filled. So, he didn't take Leader into his Stomach."

DORY – "Oh! How is your leader now?"

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES – "Don't ask please. It's so emotional. (They started crying). Should we tell to her? (Asking to each other). Ok let us tell.

He died 40 years ago as the same shark ate him the next day; as we have heard from our grandparents."

DORY – "Then, he must have met his father."

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES (crying)- "Oh! No. He couldn't meet because the shark had already emptied his stomach before eating him."

DORY – "Eww! Sorry, sorry, Aww! Poor Unfortunate Soul was your leader."

Nemo's patience was draining listening to the senseless talks of Dory and those Surgeonfishes.

NEMO – "Ok, now, can you please tell me the way to Tokyo Bay? I am in a hurry."

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES (Wailing) – "You are not sad for our leader's demise? You are not good; we will not tell the way."

DORY – "Nemo, you heartless boy. You don't feel their pain of losing their leader. Han! Han! Han! (In a mocking way)"

NEMO – "No, no, I am very sad hearing your leader's demise.

 Dory, can we talk a bit, alone?"

Nemo takes Dory aside

NEMO – "Dory, what rubbish. Please ask them the address quickly. They are wasting our time."

DORY – "Is it so? Are they wasting our time? Ok let me ask them directly."

Dory goes near the yellow surgeonfish school and tells

DORY – "Now, see. Nemo is deeply disheartened listening to your leader's story. Are you not disheartened listening to Nemo's story?"

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES – "Yes, yes we are very sad. See tears coming down our eyes. So unlucky boy."

DORY – "Then tell the directions, please."

YELLOW SURGEONFISHES – "Go straight nearly 20 kms upto a small reef, then take a left turn and go straight. You would see 2 oceanic ridges. Pass in the space in between the ridges by taking 2 right turns and 2 left turns consecutively. Go straight till some distance and you would reach the Kuroshio current. Follow the current you will reach near Tokyo Bay."

NEMO – "Thank you so much. I would always remember your help."

Telling this Nemo headed forward to start the further journey along the path shown by the Yellow Surgeonfishes. Dory followed him but was left behind.

YELLOW SURGEONFISH – "Remember! Do not go too close to surface of water and stay careful near the coasts of Japan before you reach the Tokyo Bay. And also do not go deeper in the trench present in between the 2 ridges, stay upwards. Good bye and All the Best."

Only Dory could hear the last warnings of Surgeonfishes.

DORY – "Thank you. I will remember. Good Bye. Will also remember sad story of your leader."

NEMO – "Why did these fish respond to you only and not me?"

DORY – "Because, we belong to the same biological Family. Both Yellow surgeonfish and I have spines in caudal fins which can be used for identification. You know, I am a Regal Blue Tang also known as Blue surgeonfish."

NEMO – "Oh, I see. Great, you surgeonfish. Don't forget about your spines. Do use them for protection when needed. Ok?"

DORY – "Yes PIPO. Oh, sorry Nemo."

In the TUBBATAHA REEF, With each passing day Marlin's tension started increasing. Every single morning, he tried to persuade Coral and Junior that he had become fine and would leave. But Coral and junior didn't let him leave.

MARLIN (to himself) – "Once, I leave from here. I will find someone who would know the place back to Great barrier reef, (he had eventually remembered his home place but couldn't still help himself with directions) and then would return back to Nemo. Then I would come again to take Coral and Junior back to my reef. I will persuade them and they would agree for sure. If I stay here for more time then Nemo might be in any danger."

CORAL – "Marlin, did you say something?"

MARLIN – "Coral, try to understand Nemo needs me. Let me go please."

CORAL – "It is only 2 days you have been here. Don't panic so much. I feel Nemo won't be in any danger. I understand your tension but think if you will not be completely fine then how will you protect Nemo? Leave protecting, how will you even reach Nemo?

So, follow my advice. Clownfish leaving in Anemone heal fast. You would surely heal in more 4-5 days. Then you are free."

MARLIN – "Coral, you say the same thing every day."

CORAL – "It is because you ask for the same thing every day. As simple as that, Isn't it?"

MARLIN (making a cranky face) – "You are making fun of me. I won't talk to you"

CORAL – "Junior, Look at your grumpy dad. Ha, ha. Marlin you look cute with that grumpy face."

Marlin Jr. (laughing out loudly) – "Ha, Ha, Ha. Grumpy dad. Ha, Ha."

MARLIN – "Yes, yes now, Mother and son make fun of me. Clowns are ought to made fun of and I am a clownfish. Right?

I am so tensed, how would be Nemo? He would be waiting for me. Don't know if Dory still remembers my son or would have forgotten him in this 1 month."

Telling this he went away from Coral and Junior.

Coral followed Marlin

CORAL – "You think, I don't care for Nemo. I care for Nemo but also, I care for his dad. I know your tension but I feel you are just overthinking. We are small fishes so we are prone to many oceanic predators. You cannot save Nemo from all predators. He has to do it on his own. I never Overprotect Junior and leave it on him to solve his own problems himself until it's too large for him to handle. This is the reason that Junior is brave and I am proud of my son. Chill and believe your son. Nemo would be all right."

Junior put his fin around Marlin making a circle and told.

Marlin Jr. – "Mom is right, dad. Be with me for some more days, please..."

MARLIN (cuddling Junior) – "Ok. As you wish. Huh!"

SCENE – 9

Nemo and Dory continued their journey with full enthusiasm and determination to find Marlin. Each day they covered several miles in the mighty blue. The journey became more Fascinating with the innocent nature of Dory which sometimes irritated Nemo while sometime left Nemo in splits.

NEMO – "Dory, Those Surgeonfishes told to take 2 lefts. I think we have to take the first left there. (Pointing to a small reef)."

DORY – "Who? When? Where? I don't remember anything. See that reef, it is so beautiful. Should we take rest on some corals there."

NEMO – "You keep quiet. Just follow me. We have to find Dad; did you forget that?"

DORY – "My bad, Yes, Yes Mission finding Dad should continue.

        Hey, wait. Whose Dad. My Dad or your dad?"

NEMO – "I am not at all interested in jokes, Dory. Can't you be serious for a while. In such times of tension how can you be so silly."

DORY – "By the way, it wasn't a joke. It was really a great doubt bothering me. Umm let me think……"

NEMO – "Huh! It is my dad, whom we are finding, Dory. Don't ask me this question again. You are least bothered about me and my dad."

DORY – "Do I want to reduce my life span by only bothering? Bothering and taking tension doesn't make anything good. Just keep swimming, anything that happens is only for Good. Enjoy every moment and be happy. Every moment of your life should bring happy memories be it a happy or a sad moment. Make every moment a happy one. This is what I feel. Any comments, FABIO?"

NEMO – "No comments Dory except that my name is Nemo. You are not wrong. I also believe in enjoying each moment but at this moment, I think about my father and get tensed."

DORY – "You know, you have started becoming like your father. He also scolded me several times when I accompanied him on his journey to find you.

Wait, I remember the journey. Wo, hoo! Yay! My memory is getting stronger with you and your dad."

NEMO – "I hope your disease gets cured completely, by staying with us, which I don't think is going to happen any time soon."

DORY – "Nemo, don't you think we are travelling too close to surface of ocean. I feel we should travel bit in the deeper waters. I really feel that it would be a better option. I feel someone told this to me earlier. Umm… umm…, Do you remember? (looking at Nemo being confused)"

NEMO – "No Dory, I don't remember. You don't know, I was taught in school that we can reach the water current easily travelling through the surface. You just follow me."

DORY – "If you tell, then ok as you wish."

 Nemo and Dory travelled through the ocean close to the horizon. Crossing a few distance, they saw some beautiful thread like structure hanging from the surface of the ocean covering the whole surface of water like a big patch till some visible distance. They were looking like colorful beads arranged in form of necklace dangling in the waters.

DORY – "Nemo, see beautiful and colorful ribbons. I will bring some for you. They look fancy. Let us go there quickly."

Telling this Dory rushed forward to catch them.

NEMO – "They really look pretty. But what are they?"

Dory was just going to touch them as Nemo realized something and shouted.

NEMO – "Dory, wait those are the tentacles of Physalia sp. (Portuguese Man O' War). You would get stung. The Toxin is highly dangerous. Don't touch it."

Till Nemo completed Dory had touched one of the tentacles but lightly.

DORY – "Ouch! My fin is paining. Stinging ribbons. I will beat them. They are evil."

As Dory was taking her fin second time to beat the tentacles which she thought as ribbons, Nemo rushed from behind and grabbed Dory's fins. In this process his fins came in contact with the tentacles of Physalia

NEMO – "Don't touch them."

DORY – "Is you fin also paining? Are they jellyfishes?"

NEMO – "No not much as I am bit immune to Cnidarian stings living on an Anemone. I won't get harmed much. But it is too dangerous for you to touch. They are Physalia, they look like jellyfishes but they aren't. I know you and dad faced jellyfishes while finding me. Now don't tell that story to me now."

DORY – "I was going to tell you that story only. I remember it."

NEMO- "Ok, now stop it. But how shall we cross these hanging tentacles. They are covering a huge patch. Without crossing them we cannot go forward.

I should have listened to you that time. If we travelled through the deeper waters, we would have crossed the colony of these Man O' Wars."

Nemo and Dory start thinking to overcome the huge problem.

Nemo saw Dory travelling through the gaps in tentacles by placing her fins too closer to her body so that she can reduce the probability of the body coming in contact with the tentacles by reducing surface area of the body.

NEMO – "The idea is good. Dory, wait. I am also coming."

Both of them leaped through the gaps. Dory emerged first crossing the whole patch of the Physalia tentacles. As Nemo just crossed the tentacles of the last Physalia, it moved its tentacles laterally placing all its tentacles on Nemo.

DORY – "Nemo, look out for the tentacles."

Though Nemo was bit immune to the toxin put so many tentacles made him unconscious.

Dory carried him out of the Physalia tentacles, protecting herself even. She carried him upto some distance by holding him tightly in her fins. She placed Nemo in a coral, which she found at some distance from the Physalia patch. She placed some kelps and red algae over Nemo to heal him and again continued the journey by holding Nemo in her fins.

After a few minutes, Nemo opened his eyes. It was already dark by this time.

NEMO – "Where are we, Dory? Where are we heading to? Have, we reached the 2 ridges which those fishes told?"

DORY – "Open your eyes and see where are we. You were stung by those Ribbons."

When Nemo opened his eyes, he saw the ridges just infront of him. Dory had carried him all way by remembering the directions.

NEMO – "You did it, Dory. You remembered the directions. I will tell father, how you saved my life. Thank you so much."

Nemo Thanked Dory as he flung his fin across her.

Both of them swam through the water filled tunnel like path in between the 2 ridges. Below them present was a deep trench which was darker as light rays didn't reach there.

DORY – "It's so dark inside. The trench is deeeep…… (she exclaimed). I feel we will reach quickly if we pass deep through the trench. It may be a shortcut."

As she said she started going inside the trench.

NEMO – "Why are you going inside. Dark places are dangerous."

DORY – "Oh, See Nemo is afraid of Darkness. Nyctophobic are you?"

NEMO – "No phobia. I just told so that we don't fall in any danger."

DORY – "Lier. Nemo is a scaredy fish. Nemo is a scaredy fish. You are coward."

NEMO – "I am not coward. By the way its an idiom- Scaredy cat not fish. Let's go deep through the trench. I will prove that I am not scaredy fish, oh sorry cat."

DORY – "Let's see who crosses the ridge faster. Will you race. I will win."

NEMO – "No chance. I will win."

Telling this Nemo started down the trench with a faster pace while Dory followed. Nemo and Dory raced in between the two ridges. They observed that they were crossing the ridge faster.

NEMO – "Dory, you were right. It's really a short cut."

DORY – "I know I am right. Now see I am ahead of you."

NEMO – "Is it so, just see now."

Both of them raced to cross each other. Nemo was in front while Dory tried with full speed to cross him. While doing this Dory accidentally put her spiny caudal fin on something leathery and spongy, without realizing.

The leathery thing opened its eyes and started gliding in the water coming towards Dory from the sand where it laid.

Nemo, who was ahead of Dory looked behind to see Dory and saw the big organism behind Dory.

NEMO – "Dory, look something is there behind you. 

Oh no, It's a Torpedo (Electric Ray). Run Dory. Save your life."

Dory looked back to see the Torpedo immediately behind her. She shouted and swam with her fastest speed reaching Nemo. Both of them held each other's fin and started swimming fast to save their life.

The Torpedo glided very fast behind both of them to catch them and have a good dinner.

NEMO – "Dory, look back, is it still following us?"

Dory looked back and with a shout turned the head forward.

DORY – "Aaaaaaa! Run Nemo Run. It is following us with a very fast pace."

NEMO – "You know Torpedo can give us electric shock and kill us. Its shock can even kill large animals like sharks. They are very dangerous."

Both of them swam up out of the deep trench to get some light. Everywhere they went, the Torpedo followed.

DORY – "Nemo, wait. I am unable to swim anymore. Let me wait for a moment. You swim fast, I will join."

NEMO – "Are you mad. The Torpedo will kill and gobble you up. Come fast with me."

Telling this Nemo grabbed Dory's fin and pushed her forward with him.

NEMO – "It was your idea to go deep in the trench."

DORY – "Umm, was it my idea? I don't remember anything. Wait a second, let me try to remember. (scratching her head)"

NEMO – "Shut up, you forgetful fish. Now swim as fast as you can."

The Torpedo followed both of them everywhere. The Torpedo increased its pace.

Suddenly, Nemo got stuck in osculum of a small sponge while running for life. Dory tried to take Nemo out of it. The Torpedo reached closer to both of them. As it was just about to give a shock to both of them, Dory moved her spiny caudal fin over the electric sensing organ of the Torpedo, which helps it to sense its prey in dark.

The Torpedo couldn't sense both of them for some time and stopped for a while. In the meantime, Dory took Nemo out of the sponge. Dory and Nemo used this opportunity to run as fast as they could. But unfortunately, in rush both of them collided with the large ridge and lost their sense.

The Torpedo, which had eventually regained its sense, rushed to pound on them.

As it was just going to pounce on both of them, something large saved both of them. It was large, slippery and had a curved pointed fin on its body.

After a while when Nemo opened his eyes,

NEMO – "Hey Dory, look, we are saved."

He looked around to find a pink skin over which he was present. He could not find Dory anywhere around. He got tensed

NEMO – "Where is Dory? Dory, Dory, where are you?"

SAVING CREAUTURE – "Your blue friend is there on back of MARKY (pointing to somewhere)."

Nemo looked around to see Dory and when he looked to front, he saw a snouted mammal. Both of them were saved by a Pod (group of dolphins) of Dolphins who carried Nemo and Dory on their back and outsmarted the Torpedo by beating it down with their large fins.

SAVING CREAUTURES – "Hi, I am DELPHIE. We are a pod of Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins. That trench is full of Electric rays (Torpedo). You shouldn't have gone that deep inside the trench."

NEMO – "Thank you for saving us, Delphie and its pod."

DELPHIE – "Where are you heading to?"

DORY – "Wait, wait. I will tell. We are going to P Sherman, 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney."

NEMO – "No, no we are heading to the Tokyo Bay, Japan to find my father. Probably due to the Torpedo accident, she (pointing towards Dory) has forgotten the direction."

DELPHIE – "Oh we will leave you near the Kuroshio current. Follow it and you will reach the Tokyo Bay. By the way, what happened to your father?"

DORY – "Yes, what happened to your father."

Nemo narrated the whole story to the dolphin pod which Dory also listened carefully as she had forgotten the whole thing due to the Torpedo attack. Nemo also narrated all the problems they faced throughout the way

DELPHIE – "Oh! Nemo you are such an Ideal son. Your father is very lucky to get a son like you, who crossed all odds to find his father."

DORY – "Good Boy. You made me emotional, Boy.

 Wait, I had heard this story before. Nemo – Marlin, Marlin – Nemo. Yes, yes, I remember, I am Dory and I am with Nemo. We were attacked by a Torpedo. Who saved us, Nemo?"

MARKY – "Is she crazy, Nemo?"

NEMO – "No, no, she isn't mad. She suffers from short term memory loss. So, she forgets the incidences which happens in the near past.

Dory, we were saved by this pod of dolphins. Say them Thank you."

DORY – "Thank you so much, dolphins especially you, BARKY. (Looking at Marky, who was carrying her on his back)"

MARKY – "Hey, I am not Barky, I am Marky."

DORY – "Oops, Sorry Marky."

Everyone laughed on such behavior of Dory.

NEMO – "Hey Delphie, you are pink in color. I heard about Pink dolphins but never saw them earlier."

DELPHIE – "It's actually due to the blood vessels which are overdeveloped for thermoregulation. Actually, we can be of mixture of colors. I am pink, Marky is grey, Sophie is Albino and Nancy is mixture of grey and pink. (Pointing to some other members of her Pod)

Delphie and Marky carried Nemo and Dory on their back as they marched through the ocean.

DELPHIE AND MARKY – "Hold us tightly Nemo and Dory."

As both of them held the dolphins tightly with their fins, the pod of Dolphins started Breaching (act of jumping in water). Nemo and Dory enjoyed the adventurous journey towards the Kuroshio Currents.

DORY- "Woo, Hoo, I am feeling so excited. You Guys are awesome."

The pod of dolphin soon reached the Kuroshio current carrying Nemo and Dory due to the fast locomotion cause by breaching.

DELPHIE – "We can help you till this place only. Rest way, you have to cover by yourself."

MARKY – "Infront of you is the Kuroshio current. Go by the current, you would easily reach the Tokyo Bay."

DELPHIE – "Do, stay carefully near the Asian bays. They are highly polluted. Don't go to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Microplastics affects a lot of individuals of our species every year, making us diseased, Infertile. Many a time, some intraspecific-mates intake these plastics and lose their ability of Echolocation. So, take care of it. Last year only one of our friends, Monty, died by chocking due to intake of these microplastics."

DORY – "Aww! Feeling so sorry for you."

NEMO – "You all helped us a lot. Thank you so much for saving us and for carrying us a lot way ahead in our journey. We will take care to not fall into the trap of pollution. Thank you for informing us."

DORY – "Thank you and would remember you always. Bye, bye."

DOLPHIN POD – "Bye, all the best for your rest journey."

Saying this the Dolphin Pod started towards the Bays near Hong-Kong, the places which they inhabit.

Dory and Nemo started moving through the water which was shown as Kuroshio current by the dolphin group.

Moving in the water, they felt a force which was carrying them forward. They moved by that force. The water in the place was not as clear as that near the great barrier reef. Both of them could observe less animals and many of bleached anemones and corals throughout the way.

Travelling along the Kuroshio current, Nemo and Dory had already reached the coastal line of Japan.

After reaching a point they felt no more force was moving them forward.

NEMO – "I think the current has ended. Where are we? Where to proceed further? Have we reached the Tokyo Bay as told by those Surgeonfishes?"

DORY – "Let us ask someone here.

Hello, anyone there. Please help us. Hello, anyone listening? I am Dory and he is Nemo."

NEMO – "Dory, I don't find anyone nearby. Let us proceed straight."

DORY – "Wait, see 2 clownfishes there. (Pointing to somewhere in right side).

         Hello, can you help us please?"

The clownfishes rushed towards Nemo and Dory.

CLOWNFISHES – "Hello, we are RILL and MILL, we are brothers. Tell, how can we help you? Where are you heading to?"

DORY – "Hello, I am Dory and he is Nemo. We are on a journey to find his lost father in the Tokyo Bay, Japan. Can you help us with directions, please?"

RILL – "Tokyo Bay is very near to this place. Just go straight and you will find many ships kept at a place with Tokyo written on them. It is Tokyo Bay."

DORY – "Thank you so much BILL and KILL."

NEMO – "She meant to say RILL and MILL. Bye, bye."

Telling this Nemo and Dory rushed straight from that place in hurry without talking much to Rill and Mill.

Rill and Mill started looking to each other.

RILL – "Hey Mill, they are heading towards Tokyo Bay to find father of that small clownfish, looking nearly of our age. Is it that clownfish, who they are looking for?"

MILL – "Who? The one who is present with Marlin Jr.?

Junior said that the old clownfish was his father. Then How can he be father of this fish?"

RILL- "Mill, fishes can have multiple offspring. By the way, you don't remember that Junior said that he has a long-lost brother, for whom his father was tensed. I think it was Nemo only."

MILL – "We should have warned those fishes of the Great Garbage Patch and the Tokyo Bay fishing site."

Rill looked around everywhere

RILL – "But, they aren't visible any more. They have gone out of sight."

MILL – "Come on, Let's go and inform about these fishes to Marlin Jr."

Both Rill and Mill swam through the waters to reach Junior's anemone in the Tubbataha Reef.

Earlier Marlin Jr. came everyday with Rill and Mill to Play near the Coastline of Japan. But since Marlin had come to their reef, Junior wanted to spend more time with his father listening to his stories of adventure and knowing more about his brother, whom he was excited to meet to.

Rill and Mill reached Junior's anemone. Junior was busy listening to story told to him by Marlin.

RILL and MILL- "Junior, Junior, listen. There is something very important for you."

MARLIN JR.– "Tell, Rill and Mill, what is it?"

MILL – "We met a clownfish and a Regal Blue Tang. They were heading to Tokyo Bay to find the father of the clownfish."

MARLIN – "Are they Nemo and Dory? (To himself)."

Telling this Marlin also swam to Rill and Mill, hearing their conversation keenly.

MARLIN JR. – "What were their names?"

RILL – "The Regal tang was Dory and the clownfish was..."

MARLIN – "NEMO… Tell me where did they go. How were they?"

RILL AND MILL – "They went towards the Tokyo Bay. They were good as I felt but they didn't talk much as they were in a hurry."

MARLIN – "I have to go and find them. Oh! My son, he covered such a great distance to find me. I will scold him so much. I had told him to not step out of house apart from going to school, yet he defied me. Dory also didn't stop him."

CORAL – "Feel proud Marlin, your son has defied all odds to reach his father. He has travelled miles to reach you. You are the luckiest father."

MARLIN JR. – "I am eager to meet my brave brother."

MARLIN – "He might have faced so many dangers in the way. I have to go and stop them."

CORAL – "Wait Marlin, you won't go. You aren't fine yet."

MARLIN – "Stop it today, Coral. I would go today. No one can stop me."

CORAL – "You won't go but MARLIN will go."

MARLIN – "What do you mean, Coral. Don't solve riddles. Say it straight."

CORAL – "Marlin Jr. would go to bring his brother back. Junior, look for a clownfish with shortened fin and a Regal tang together heading to Tokyo Bay, you would get them easily."

MARLIN JR. – "Ok Mom, I would bring them to the reef safely."

MARLIN – "Wait Junior, you won't go. I won't put life of my one son at risk to save the other. I will go."

CORAL – "Marlin, don't you believe on me. I am sure Junior would be successful. I have not taught my son to be a coward and accept defeat. I have taught him to explore, learn from mistakes and do self-defenses. Today, you will see how strong I have made my child. Junior would prove it to you. If you believe on me, let Junior go to find Nemo and Dory, so that I can prove my parenting skills but if you don't believe me, then your wish."

MARLIN – "I believe on you more than myself.

           Junior, stay safe and bring back your brother and Dory. Go, I am sure you would succeed in your mission. But take Rill and Mill with you. Will you both help your friend? (Looking at Rill and Mill)"

RILL and MILL – "Yes, we will always help our friend. Let's go Junior."

MARLIN JR. – "Thank you Dad, for giving me a chance. Bye, Mom and Dad. Let's go (looking at Rill and Mill)"

MARLIN and CORAL – "Bye son, Bye Rill and Mill. Stay safe."

Marlin Jr. along with Rill and Mill started his journey out of the anemone. All of them headed towards the Tokyo Bay to bring back Nemo and Dory to the Tubbataha Reef, Philippines.'

Scene- 10

Dory and Nemo continued their journey straight in the waters. Going certain distance, they observed something large approaching them.

DORY – "Nemo, I feel it's a whale. Let me ask and confirm the directions from him."

NEMO – "Are you sure, it's a whale."

DORY – "Yes, I am sure it is.

Heeelooo siiir, Caaan yooouuu heeelp uuus Fiiind theee waaay tooo Toookyooo Baaay."

NEMO – "I know that you can talk to whales but are you sure it is gonna work?"

DORY – "Yes, Whales are my friends. They do listen to me. You know when you got lost, a whale helped me and your father to reach Sydney."

NEMO – "Yes, I see. The whale is coming near us to help us probably."

DORY – "See, I told you.

Siiir, caaan yooouuu cooomeee a biiit faaasteeer. Weee neeed tooo fiiind hiiis faaatheeer."

NEMO – "It is coming faster now. Call again, Dory."

DORY – "Siiir, Faaast pleeeaaaseee."

As the whale started coming close with a great pace, it started becoming visible.

NEMO – "Wait, I don't feel that's a normal whale. It has white ventral side and white patches on dorsal black body. It has a sharp black fin.

Oh no, it is an Orca (killer whale). Run Dory, Run. It will gulp us down to its gut."

DORY – "What nonsense, whales don't eat fish, they eat krill.

Siiir, Cooome faaasteeer. Dooont Liiisteeen tooo Neeemooo."

NEMO – "Shush, (by placing finger on his mouth) keep quiet Dory. This whale is different. It is a toothed whale. It is a top predator of the food chain. Fish is its natural prey.

Now, run fast to save your life or else we will become its prey."

The Orca ran furiously behind both of them, to devour them into its mouth. It jumped and swam to reach much near to Nemo and Dory. It just opened its mouth to gobble both of them showing its 40-56 large, conical, interlocked and monophyodont teeth.

DORY – "Aaaaaaa! Bad Whale. Aaaaaaa."

NEMO – "Swim faster. Faster. I don't want to die before meeting my father at least once."

Both of them swam as fast as they could and escaped several times from a close proximity to the Orca's mouth. The Orca continued swimming behind them without a miss.

Suddenly as they were running, they saw another Orca leaping over them from front.

Both of them protected themselves by moving sideways. After sometimes of sideway escape with 2 orcas following from behind, they saw many krills escape beside them. A large blue whale was coming from the Front of them, opening its mouth wide open to eat the krills.

Both of them had lost all the hope of living when Dory remembered something and an idea struck her mind.

DORY – "Nemo, don't run from the blue whale. It won't harm us. Run towards it."

NEMO – "Are you mad? What is the difference between becoming the food of an Orca or the blue whale? Instead of thinking of a way of escape you are advising me to go towards the predator's mouth."

DORY – "Make it fast. We don't have time. You want to reach your dad, so this time believe on me."

As the Blue whale came closer, the water started flowing out of its mouth and the krills along with Nemo and Dory entered into its mouth, filtered through its bristle like Baleen.

As the Blue whale passed forward, the 2 Orcas left the way and scattered in different directions without attacking the large mammal.

Inside the mouth of blue whale,

NEMO – "Why did you tell to enter into its mouth, Dory. Now in some time we will be sent to its stomach. Covering such a large journey, I could not meet my father."

DORY – "Blue Whales are filter feeders. They don't eat clownfishes or regal tangs. When you were lost, it was a blue whale which helped us reach Sydney. Wait, let me communicate with it.

Heeelooo, I Aaam Dooory. Weee aaareee stuuuck iiinsiiideee yooouuur mooouuuth. Weee Waaant tooo geeet ooouuut ooof heeereee, tooo reeeaaach Toookyooo Baaay. Caaan yooouuu heeelp pleeeaaaseee?"

The blue whale groaned loudly which was heard inside its body.

DORY – "It is telling us to not worry and wait for some time till it signals."

NEMO – "You are mad Dory, are you sure the whale would help us without making its breakfast? What if the Orcas attack the Blue whale?" 

Nemo remembers something.

NEMO – "No, Orca won't attack the blue whale. It is because Orcas attack the blue whale only when they are present in large groups of 60-70 and not when they are just 2. Yes, this is what I learnt in school."

DORY – "Don't worry. Blue whales are very Trustworthy. They are kind and good."

The whale grunted loudly again.

DORY – "Weeelcooomeee.

You heard that, it thanked me for telling it kind and good."

NEMO – "Well, you can understand whales. I cannot."

Suddenly water started flowing towards inside of the whale from its mouth along with which Nemo and Dory started to go inside.

NEMO – "What is it doing? It is taking us inside its gut. Aaaaaaa! Aaaaaaa!"

The Whale groaned with its highest pitch which filled its inner body with loud vibrations.

DORY – "Don't panic Nemo, it is asking us to go with the water."

NEMO – "Are you sure?"

DORY – "One- hundred percent"

Both of them started flowing along with the water inside the whale's mouth.

They came out of the body with a fountain of water, that was sprayed out through the blowholes of the blue whale.

As they came out of water, Dory looked at the surrounding.

DORY – "So many ships and a large lighthouse. Something is written on them. To…, Tok… Tokyo on the ship (with surprise), Tokyo written on the lighthouse. See, Nemo we are at the Tokyo Bay. The blue whale helped."

NEMO – "You are right Dory. Blue whales are really trustworthy and good creatures.

We have reached the bay. Now, we have to look for the Reef having anemones, where father was assigned to work. It would be near to the Bay probably."

 Both of them started straight in forward direction, in the search of the reef at Tokyo Bay.

 SCENE -11

Marlin Jr., Rill and Mill, headed towards the Tokyo Bay. They passed through the azure of ocean crossing several corals, anemones and aquatic creatures to reach the Tokyo Bay. They searched for Nemo and Dory in every direction in the bay but couldn't find them as both of them had already headed forward to find the reef.

MARLIN JR. – "They aren't present here. Are you sure, they wanted to reach the Tokyo Bay?"

RILL – "Yes, they did ask the direction of that only. I helped them with the directions, myself."

MARLIN JR. – "Did they go towards the reef of anemones? (thinking) Let us check by going there."

All of the three, swam towards the large reef of anemones. Reaching there they started searching for Nemo and Dory.

MILL – "We have searched everywhere in this reef. Still, they aren't found. Did they reach the Tokyo Bay at all or were they stuck in middle?"

MARLIN JR. – "It's a lot time passed to them asking the directions. They must have reached the Tokyo Bay. Did they go forward?"

Junior started thinking about all the possibilities which could have happened. Suddenly something struck his mind.

MARLIN JR. – "Did you both warn them about that place? (Looking with a fearful eye at Rill and Mill)"

RILL – "Which place? The Tokyo Bay fishing site?"

MILL (looking sad) – "No, we couldn't warn them as they were in a hurry."

MARLIN JR. – "Oh no, it's a great problem. Let us hurry. They could be in great danger. Come fast."

Junior, Rill and Mill hurried towards the Tokyo Bay Fishing site located at some distance to the Bay.

Scene – 12

Nemo and Dory continued heading forward but couldn't find the Anemone reef.

NEMO – "Did we miss the reef? I don't think the reef would be present any more forward. We should return back to the bay and ask someone."

Dory looked at something arc like structure present beside her. She touched it with her fin. She saw more similar structures present at many places beside her. She started touching them one by one and rubbing her fins against them.

NEMO – "Dory, wait. Don't touch anything here and there. It could be dangerous."

Nemo rushed towards her as she continued touching these arcs one by one in a row.

DORY – "Woo, hoo! You also do. It's a good game. Touch-leave, touch- leave, touch-leave. Nemo, see this is the smallest of all the arcs."

Dory Touched the smallest arc with both fins and tried pulling it down.

Someone from back tried to stop her by shouting.

SOMEONE – "Hey, stop. Don't touch that. It is the hook of a fishing rod."

It was Marlin Jr. Before he could stop Dory, she had already pulled the hook.

The fisherman sitting above could feel the force and tried pulling the rod up. Dory's fin stuck to the rod as she started going up along with the rod.

NEMO – "Dory, leave that hook. Quick."

DORY – "Nemo, my fin is stuck to the hook. Help pleeeaaseee......"

Marlin Jr., Rill, Mill and Nemo went near Dory and helped her release her stuck fin from the hook.

As soon as the fisherman could feel no force pulling the rod downwards, he signaled other fishermen sitting beside him to move their rods so that they can catch the fish.

Junior along with all other tried escaping from the place but due to moving of so many hooks, they had to move carefully. The sharp hooks could injure them.

Many hooks surrounding the fishes, made it difficult for them to escape.

RILL AND MILL (in a tense voice) – "What to do now? We are in danger. We don't think we can escape these fast-moving sharp hooks."

DORY – "Don't tense, we would get out. There must be some way. Isn't it?"

MARLIN JR. – "Yes, there is a way. Swim downwards through the hooks carefully. Once we reach much down near the stratum, the hooks won't be able to reach us."

Before junior completed, Dory had started moving downwards.

MARLIN JR. – "Yes good, she is doing it perfectly. Follow her. Are we ready to do it?"

NEMO – "No, it's too dangerous. How will we cross these hooks? There is much less gap present in between them."

Junior held Nemo's fin and stated

MARLIN JR. – "Nemo, nothing is impossible if you are determined. Let's do it together."

Nemo observed that Junior also had a shorter fin just like him and got surprised.

Rill, Mill followed Dory while Junior and Nemo came together behind them. They moved towards the stratum crossing the hooks.

As the fishermen could sense, no fish caught in the hook they eventually stopped moving their rods.

The group of fishes reached successfully towards the stratum.

DORY – "Yay! We did it. All are safe."

MARLIN JR. – "Yes, we all did it. Thank you all for following my plan."

DORY – "No, no, thank you for saving our life. Nemo, thank him quickly."

NEMO – "Thanks you.

But wait, who are you all? Why did you save us?"

RILL AND MILL – "Hey, you both remember, we are those clownfishes who helped you get way to the Tokyo Bay."

DORY – "Oh! Then you are Bill and he is Kill (pointing towards them)."

NEMO – "Stop it Dory. You are Rill and You are Mill. Am I right?"

RILL AND MILL – "Yes, you are absolutely correct Nemo. Very few people name us correctly."

NEMO – "And who are you (pointing towards Junior)? We have something in common too."

MARLIN JR. – "I am Marlin Junior. I know we have one short fin in common. Lucky fin, that's what you call that, right?

Anyways, we are getting late. You both (pointing to Dory and Nemo) follow us. We know location of your father."

NEMO – "Hey, wait. Your Name's Marlin (with surprise). But, That's also my dad's name. How do you know my dad? Can we trust you?"

MARLIN JR. – "If I were to put you in danger, then I wouldn't have saved you at that fishing site. Still, if you think you can't trust me, then it's your wish."

DORY – "Shush Nemo. Small kid you know, tells without thinking. We trust you completely.

Nemo, just follow them. Don't utter another word from your mouth. Understand?"

NEMO – "Ok, Dory."

Both of them followed Junior, Rill and Mill. Dory flushed Junior and his mates with plethora of questions. Everyone laughed at her silly and innocent behavior. She kept everyone entertained throughout the way.

Soon they reached the small anemone of Junior in the Tubbataha Reef, Philippines. While the clownfishes entered the anemone, Dory stayed away from it being warned by Nemo.

Marlin was present out of the anemone waiting eagerly for his both sons to return safely. Coral was present inside the anemone praying God for safety of her both sons.

As soon as Nemo saw Marlin, he rushed towards him and hugged him tightly. He was very happy meeting Marlin. Marlin too heaved a sigh of relief seeing his both sons safe.

MARLIN – "I told you not to come out of house except for school, then why did you initiate this risky journey. You could have been in Danger."

NEMO – "You even told that you will return in a month. Did you return? I was so tensed so I wanted to find you."

DORY – "You know Marlin, we faced the Physalia, Tor…"

NEMO – "Dory, we have many things to talk apart from the journey, isn't it?"

Nemo whispered to Dory

NEMO – "Don't talk about the dangers we faced or else dad will scold us."

DORY – "Ok, I will keep my mouth shut."

MARLIN – "You were telling something, Dory. Continue it. It's my order."

DORY – "No, No I won't tell or else you will scold us."

Nemo put his fin on his head observing Dory's gullible nature.

MARLIN – "No, no, I won't scold. Tell it to me, Dory."

DORY – "Promise, you won't scold?"

MARLIN – "Promise. Now speak it out."

DORY – "You know, we faced colony of Physalia, A big Torpedo and 2 large Orcas in our way. But we also met a school of Funny yellow Surgeonfishes, a pod of Dolphins who saved us from danger and showed us the way to Tokyo Bay. These fishes, Junior, Bill and Kill also helped us. 

Oh, my Goodness, I remember the whole journey."

RILL AND MILL – "Not completely yet, Dory. We are Rill and Mill."

MARLIN – "Nemo, what was the need of this journey. I would have returned in few days. Dory, I told you to take care of Nemo but you let him on this journey."

CORAL – "Marlin, don't discourage Nemo. He has done a great job along with Dory. He has crossed the whole ocean, faced so many dangerous animals, learnt many new things. You should appreciate Nemo and his bravery. Everyone, clap for Nemo."

Everyone claps for Nemo. Marlin, though initially reluctant, realized the great journey undertaken by his son and started clapping for him. He felt blessed to have a son like Nemo, who came to find his dad overcoming so many odds.

Nemo was very happy with everyone clapping for him

NEMO – "This journey wasn't possible without the help of Dory. She also deserves claps."

Nemo started clapping for Dory and everyone joined.

DORY (scratching her head) – "Why is everyone clapping? Is it a clapping competition? Oh, then I will win it."

Telling this she also started clapping loudly

Marlin goes towards Dory.

MARLIN – "Dory, I thought you to be a forgetful fish but had no doubt on your determination. Thank you for taking care of my son even better than me. Finding Nemo was not possible without Dory and …"

Nemo interrupted

NEMO – "Finding Marlin would not have been successful without Dory. She was the one who initiated it and supported me throughout the way by entertaining me, giving me ideas to escape the problems and yes many a times irritating me."

Everyone laughed on Nemo's words.

RILL AND MILL – "Junior, we are going to home. Mom and dad would be tensed for us. Bye, Junior. Bye, Nemo. Bye, Dory. Bye, Marlin Uncle and Coral aunt."

MARLIN JR. – "Bye, Rill and Mill. Thank you for helping me to bring my brother safe to the home."

RILL AND MILL – "No problem. Friends are there to help."

DORY – "Bye, Bye BILL and KILL, see you later."

NEMO – "But dad, who are they (pointing towards Coral and Junior)?"

MARLIN – "You would expect me to tell that they are the ones who saved me but I would also tell you something, which you don't know.

Nemo, she is your mother Coral and he is your brother Marlin Jr. (pointing towards them respectively)."

DORY – "Whaaaaat! She came alive from the Barracuda's stomach?"

NEMO – "But dad, you told my mother died?"

MARLIN – "I was myself unaware that she had escaped the barracuda attack and is living in this reef."

Marlin narrated the whole incidence which brought him to Coral's anemone.

After Marlin completed Nemo went near his mother. He hugged his mother as they shared an emotional moment.

Nemo then headed towards Marlin jr.

NEMO – "Thank you for saving me, Brother."

Junior hugged him happily.

MARLIN JR. – "I am lucky to have a brave brother like you, Nemo."

Nemo and Junior hugged each other while Marlin and Coral hugged them from back.

Seeing the happy family reunion Dory became emotional as well as happy.

DORY – "Aww! How sweet! A perfect 'HAPPY SWEET FAMILY'."

MARLIN – "Now, as we all are together, let us return back to our original home in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia."

NEMO – "Yes dad, we will live together in the anemone. You, mom, Junior and me. Dory would live in the neighboring coral as she is living now. I am very excited."

CORAL – "No Nemo, we (pointing to her and Marlin Jr.) can't go to that place again. I advise you both (pointing to Marlin and Nemo) to stay here only. Dory can find a nearby coral in this reef also."

NEMO – "But why mom? It is a great place with good scenic beauty. It is also safe and clean."

CORAL – "No Nemo, try to understand. When Marlin took me first to that place after mating, I lost my all eggs in the barracuda attack except you two (Nemo and Junior). If I return back to that place, I fear some bad happenings would take place. Moreover, we are happy living in this reef. I am sure you would also adjust in few days."

NEMO – "No Mother, why do you think that something bad would always occur at that place? The attack was an accident. It has been 5 years after the accident but me and father are happy there."

MARLIN – "Yes Coral, Nemo is right. You yourself told that attacks are common for fishes like us and now you are fearing. Why?"

CORAL – "I am not fearing attack but that place which has bad memory associated with it."

MARLIN JUNIOR - "Mom, I also want to go there with father and Nemo. Please Mom."

CORAL – "My decision is final. I am not changing it anymore. Rest, you can decide."

Saying this Coral went away from the place, outside the anemone. Dory followed her to talk to her.

DORY – "Hey MORAN, Listen once to me."

CORAL – "Hey, my name is Coral not Moran. If you have come to tell me to change my decision then, please return back. I am firm as the northern star."

DORY – "I haven't come here to compel you to change your decision. It is something that is upto you. Who am I to judge your decision? I have come to tell you about the life. I know you are much more experienced than me but just listen to me once."

CORAL – "Tell, let me listen to your views of life. I would love to discuss about it with you."

DORY – "Life is something which is unpredictable. Isn't it?"

CORAL – "Sure, who knew I would get separated from Marlin or who knew we will meet one day suddenly.

You are absolutely correct."

DORY – "Then why indulge your mind in predicting something which you are not sure about. My life is simple. I believe,

JUST KEEP SWIMMING. JUST KEEP SWIMMING. JUST KEEP SWIMMING, SWIMMING.       

WHAT DO WE DO? WE SWIIIM SWIIMM…. LA LALA LA WE SWIMM…."

CORAL – "You don't sing that much goo……"

Dory interrupted.

DORY – "Oh! Thank you. I knew. You will like my song. My mother used to sing it when I forgot everything unlike other fishes and often got depressed.

 Life is short. You yourself know that, we small fishes are prone to unpredictable attacks of predators, unprecedented diseases, scarcity of food and habitat, loss of family.

Who would know about these glitches better than you? But should we let these problems affect us? Problems are temporary but happiness is permanent. Just flow by the water currents. They would ultimately take you to your destination, which will be always good at the end."

CORAL – "You are right, but how can I forget the past and overcome my fear. You have to care only for yourself but I have to care for myself and much more for my offspring."

DORY – "Looking at Junior, I feel you have made him much strong and capable of fighting with the obstacles on his own. You worrying for him so much, is unexpected.

Care for yourself or your child, but you cannot change the destiny. You can face a situation with your bravery and intelligence but cannot predict its outcome.

 The destiny decided Junior for you and Nemo for Marlin but your other eggs died unhatched due to the attack. Probably this is the reason that you both could devote all your parenting skills for rearing of Junior and Nemo respectively, making them valiant, strong and intelligent.

There is a good hidden in all the things that happens, the only challenge for an organism is to understand the hidden good within every happening.

 My mind says, to flow with the water and reach wherever it takes me.

Fear comes when you live in the future, tear comes when you live in past but cheer comes when you live in present.

I prefer living cheerful by enjoying the present moment. The next second is unpredictable.

May be in the next second, a shark gobbles you up or you may get to know that you have another son alive, somewhere in the polar regions. Sounds illogical, right? Even more illogical is wasting your present, thinking about the dubious future.

You know, sometimes I think, my memory loss is actually a boon for me. It helps me to stay in the present and make it a happy moment rather than being sad thinking about the past

Now, use your present to make a wise decision."

CORAL – "Your memory is short but words are of millions.

Marlin was right. You and your thoughts are amazing. You have really helped me to get out of a great confusion. Thank you."

DORY – "Umm.. Wait, Thank you? But for what?"

CORAL – "For your motivational words. Why are you talking weird?"

DORY (puzzled) – "Which words. Did we talk anything. Umm… Umm… I don't remember conversing with you. Do you remember anything? (Asking Coral, being confused)"

 I thought I was going to introduce myself to you.

Hi, I am Dory. Nice to meet you, Coral."

Dory raised her fin to say Hi.

CORAL – "You are really incredible, Dory.

Let's go inside the anemone to talk to others."

DORY – "Hey wait, we didn't talk much. Let me talk about myself to you."

CORAL – "I will surely listen. But after talking to Marlin."

Dory and Coral went near Marlin, Junior and Nemo, who were upset hearing Coral's decision. Coral and Dory were about to enter the anemone.

CORAL – "Dory, wait. Don't enter. The anemone will sting you."

Dory was just about to enter the anemone, but stopped after Coral warned her.

DORY – "Oh! Sorry. I would stay away."

Coral went near Marlin.

CORAL – "Marlin, I have decided something."

MARLIN (With sorrow) – "You can put it forward. I would follow your decision."

CORAL – "Looking at the present situation, I find the areas of Asian Bays to be highly polluted.

So, putting my premonitions aside, I have decided that, I and Junior would come to the Great Barrier reef to stay with you all."

MARLIN (With a surprised and happy face) – "What! You changed your decision. But how?"

CORAL – "I have stopped thinking about future. Attacks of predators are common for fishes and a part of the food chain. It will do less damage than the deadly human pollutants. I will now just keep swimming with the flow of water.

Aren't you happy with my new decision, Marlin?"

Marlin could understand that it is Dory, who is responsible for this change in decision of Coral. Marlin hugged Coral with his anterior fins.

MARLIN – "I can't be happier than this. This is a dream come true. Living with you all in the beautiful reef of Australia would be a bliss."

Junior and Nemo hugged Coral.

MARLIN JR. (Speaking to Coral) – "You are the best Mom in the ocean."

SCENE – 13

Aurora breaking through the darkness of night, saw the migration of story's Fabulous five from the Tubbataha reef, Philippines to the Great Barrier reef, Australia. As they were about to start the journey, Rill and Mill arrived at the place.

MILL - "Junior, you are leaving us?"

RILL – "You know that we had only one friend and that was you."

Both of them were upset with Junior leaving them so had come to meet him early in the morning.

Junior consoled them as the trio hugged each other.

MARLIN JR. – "You both helped me always. You are my true friends but please try to understand the situation."

RILL AND MILL – "Don't worry, we won't stop you. We know that you want to spend time with your family. We had come to bid you good bye. Thank you for always helping us as well. Do visit us sometimes, Nemo you too. We will all play together."

NEMO – "Sure, we will visit you. Don't be upset."

MARLIN JR. – "I will remember you always. You also visit us sometimes. Ok? Bye, Bye. See you soon."

RILL AND MILL – "Bye everyone, wish you all a safe and happy journey."

DORY – "Bye, RILL and MILL."

RILL – "You took our correct names! (amazed). Thank you, Dory."

MILL – "Will always remember our alternative names, BILL AND KILL. Bye, Bye."

After Rill and Mill bade a Happy-sad goodbye to the family, Fabulous five started with their long trip back to the original home.

The expedition was fantastic, full of learning and pleasurable. The journey was highly enjoyable for Nemo and Junior, who came to know each other properly throughout the way. They saw many new creatures which fascinated them. Marlin and Coral let their sons know about the specialty of these creatures which even Dory heard with full concentration. The best part of this journey were the hundreds of repetitive stories, thousands of poor jokes and millions of silly questions put forward by Dory which kept everyone entertained throughout the way. Her Amicable and naïve nature was adored by everyone.

Within a week, they reached The Great Barrier Reef, where Nemo and Marlin took Junior and Coral to their anemone.

Coral felt nostalgic returning to the same place after five long years.

Nemo started going to someplace before entering the anemone.

MARLIN – "Where are you going, Nemo?"

NEMO – "Dad, I will come soon."

Nemo headed towards Charles' anemone, which was present some distance from their home.

Soon, Nemo reached at Charles' place

NEMO – "Sir, Sir, I have come back with father. Father is back."

Charles could sense a voice outside his anemone.

CHARLES – "Nemo! It's Nemo's voice."

He was very happy hearing Nemo's voice all of a sudden. He rushed out of his anemone to meet Nemo.

CHARLES – "Nemo, you are safe. Oh Nemo, I was so worried for you.

Did you get your father back?"

NEMO (happily) – "Yes sir, Finding Marlin is successful. Instead, I also found my mother and brother."

CHARLES (astounded) – "What are you saying, Boy?

NEMO – "You would see yourself, Sir. Come with me."

Saying this Nemo pulled Charles with his little fin. Charles followed Nemo till both of them reached the latter's anemone.

Nemo introduced him to all his family members. Charles was flabbergasted. Coral, Marlin Jr. and Marlin greeted Charles.

Charles went near Marlin.

CHARLES – "Marlin, I am sorry. Despite your denying to go for the mission, I forced you to go and put your life in danger."

MARLIN – "No Sire, you are not culpable for what happened. I know, you always thought for others' happiness but it was just an accident."

CHARLES – "Marlin, I must say, your son is really courageous. His determination found you out. Most of us had thought you to be dead."

Marlin put his one fin on Nemo's head and other fin on Junior's head.

MARLIN – "You are right, sir. One son saved me while other brought me back home."

Marlin narrated the whole incident which took place on the way of his return from the mission which led to his discovery of his lost wife and son. Nemo and Dory excitedly described their unforgettable journey to Charles, who was amazed to hear about it.

Scene – 14

Coral and Junior took time to get adjusted to the Reef. Junior was admitted to Hank's school, the same school which Nemo goes to. Both of them went to the school together.

Junior made new friends on the reef. In free time, Junior and Nemo played various games along with their friends. Marlin and Coral started spending more time with each other and also got busy rearing their both sons.

As the family got busy with themselves, No one had time for Dory.

Dory started feeling lonely. She tried to talk to members of Marlin's family many a times, but returned back to her coral disappointed seeing them busy at some other works.

One fine day, she decided to return back to her parents who were inhabited in the FLINDER'S REEF, a reef adjoining to the Great Barrier reef. As the news reached to the nearby anemone, everyone was very upset.

CORAL – "Why are you leaving this place, Dory?"

DORY – "I want to meet my family, Coral. I haven't met them since many days. They must be remembering me."

NEMO – "Why now? They must be remembering you always. You never said to go back to your parents earlier."

DORY – "Nemo, I have just decided. There is no other specialized reason."

NEMO – "Do you remember the direction? You must not remember till now (smiling)."

 Junior shushed Nemo to make him quiet. Junior went near Marlin and told him about the decision of Dory. He had expected Marlin to stop Dory.

MARLIN – "Let her go. It's her decision. As I care for you as a parent, her parents also must be remembering her. I don't oppose her decision, if she has taken it by thinking thoroughly and not hurriedly."

NEMO – "Dad, what are you telling? You want Dory to leave? Stop her, dad."

MARLIN – "I don't want to talk on this issue any further. I want some time, so please leave me alone."

Telling this, a gloomy Marlin went away from his family members into the anemone.

Though he didn't show, he was deeply heartbroken listening to such a harsh decision of Dory.

As he closed his eyes for a moment, Flashback of the moments of his friendship with Dory started budding in his mind. He started remembering, his first encounter with Dory on his way to find Nemo, where Dory collided with him and made him lost his way. He remembered, how Dory used to pacify him in the journey whenever he got angry and got demoralized. Bouts of laughter started evoking out of him, thinking about Dory's weird way of talking to the whales. He could recall how Dory handled all the situation perfectly but without thinking about it. The journey of Dory finding her parents and letting all the creatures of the Marine life institute go free in the ocean, made him nostalgic. He felt thankful to Dory for guiding his son in his absence and keeping him safe.

All these memories filled Marlin with an uncanny energy which drove him to go out of his anemone to stop Dory returning back to her parents.

On the other hand, Dory was ready to leave her coral. She bade goodbye to all the sad members of Nemo's Family. She wanted to see Marlin for one last time before leaving. As she saw Marlin not coming out of his anemone, she sadly turned her face forward to leave the place. As she was about to leave, Nemo held her fin tightly.

NEMO – "I won't let you leave, Dory. What is the problem? Tell me."

DORY – "There is absolutely no problem, ELMO. Now just leave me."

Telling this she pulled her fin towards herself

NEMO – "Call me by any name today, I won't feel bad. But don't leave, please."

Dory didn't listen to Nemo and started swimming forward. Suddenly, she heard a voice from her back. It was of Marlin

MARLIN – "You can go, Dory because this is not the Dory, I befriended.

That Dory was a happy soul. She used to smile always and make everyone smile with her. That Dory was clear of heart, who never kept anything in her heart but spoke it out without even thinking. That Dory knew to just keep swimming, even in the times of great trouble. That Dory, that Dory saw me and felt as if she is at home.

I lost my friend, so I won't stop a stranger."

Telling this Marlin turned backward with a grief-stricken face.

Dory even started recalling her moments with Marlin and Nemo, who were her first friends, helped her find her parents, cared for her always and faced all the journeys of their life alongside her.

DORY – "Marlin, wait. Nothing has changed. I am the same Dory."

She swims towards her.

DORY – "I am the same Dory who remembers things better with you. See I remember, P Sherman, 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney. I am the same Dory who does only one thing the best, that is forgetting. I am the same Dory who always irritates and troubles you."

Telling this Dory bowed down her face in distress.

MARLIN – "Are you sad? Dory doesn't become sad."

Marlin put his fin across dory. He showed her something.

MARLIN – "See this anemone (showing his home anemone), you have touched it a hundred times despite me warning you and it stung you the same number of times till date. And what are those bundle of funny names which you have given to Nemo? Elmo, Fabio, Bingo, Harpo, Bimo etc. Will you not miss all of these, if you go from here?

I know there is some problem. Why are you concealing it from us? You could tell your problem to anyone of us. Now, quickly tell it like a good fish."

DORY – "Marlin, I love to be with your family. But now you all have become busy. You don't have time for me.

See, I understand that's completely natural.

But I feel lonely, so I decided to go to my parents."

NEMO – "Then, why didn't you tell this to me earlier? Did I ever conceal anything to you, starting from my school to my games?"

DORY – "That's not the thing, Nemo. You are all now a happy family. You don't require Dory anymore to intrude into your family."

MARLIN – "Intrude…! Without Dory there wouldn't have been a family. If Nemo is alive today it's only because of you. You have made me from a grumpy man to a happy family man who understands their feelings rather than always overprotecting them. I wouldn't say such a person as intruder who has made us a family. Maybe, you aren't our species but functionally, you are an integral part of our family. Understand? Now return back to your coral and do tell us when you feel lonely anytime."

NEMO – "Yes, return back you silly forgetful but unforgettable fish."

Saying this Nemo and Junior swam onto Dory's large head and settled on either side. Marlin and Coral held her by her anterior fin on either side. Everyone happily raises their fins as the story sets into a happy ending.

THE END

The human race is developing continuously with the help of science and technology. Sometimes, it leads to imbalance in the ecosystem, when it starts affecting the species who form an integral part of it. Every organism on this earth starting from the prokaryotes to the advanced humans, has equal share on the resources of it. Development of human shouldn't cause a compromise to the use of resources by other species present on the earth.

With progress of time, Humans have come to realize the effects of their development on the environment. The different types of pollution, Global warming, acid rain etc. has led to environmental disturbances causing harm to all the resident species of the earth including the humans.

 Generally, what is more visible is the effects of these environmental hazards on the terrestrial ecosystem and the organisms who are a part of it. But the effects of these hazards on the Marine ecosystem and the comprising organisms generally go unnoticed by at least the commoners, though ecologists and environmentalists have realized it sooner than later.

The continuously increasing emission of carbon dioxide by the human race not only affects the atmosphere, which is mostly thought of at a primary level, but it also affects the hydrosphere to a larger extent. The ocean is a large carbon sink. The carbon dioxide which dissolves in ocean forms carbonic acid reacting with water. This leads to Ocean Acidification. The ocean acidification can create havoc for the marine life. It leads to demineralization of the corals, and other animals having calcium carbonate as their building material. Destruction of corals lead to several animals losing their habitat. High acidity of the water affects hearing ability of fishes such as clownfishes and cobias. The clownfishes are adversely affected by acidification as they loss their senses such as sensing the predator or sensing the direction back to their own habitat. These all factors make it more vulnerable to predation. Predation is a natural process but induced predation leads to imbalance in the ecosystem. Acidification leads to poor shell building ability in shelled mollusk such as snails, clams and other organisms. These all factors adversely affect the marine food-chains and food-webs.

The ocean absorbs most of the excess heat from greenhouse gas emissions, leading to rising ocean temperatures. Increasing ocean temperatures affect marine species and ecosystems. Rising temperatures cause coral and anemone bleaching and the loss of breeding grounds for marine fishes and mammals. Due to ocean warming, the Great barrier Reef (home of Nemo, Dory, Marlin and many other fishes throughout the world) is demolishing day by day.

The most visible and disturbing impacts of marine plastics are the ingestion, suffocation and entanglement of hundreds of marine species. Marine wildlife such as seabirds, whales, fishes and turtles, mistake plastic waste for prey, and most die of starvation as their stomachs are filled with plastic debris. They also suffer from lacerations, infections, reduced ability to swim, and internal injuries. Floating plastics also contribute to the spread of invasive marine organisms and bacteria, which disrupt ecosystems. The more damaging are the microplastics which are not visible to the naked eye but enter into respiratory and digestive tract of the fishes causing harm and can even lead to death.

IMPACT OF MOVIES FINDING NEMO AND FINDING DORY ON ECOSYSTEM

The films which actually portrayed keeping fish in aquariums in a negative light and encouraged people to let the marine life live in natural habitats, were taken in an opposite way by its audiences. The film's use of aquatic organisms prompted mass purchase of the fish breeds such as clownfish, Regal tangs etc. shown in the film. According to National Geographic, "Ironically, Finding Nemo, a movie about the anguish of a captured clownfish; caused home-aquarium demand for them to triple."

Though some audience understood the true meaning of the movie but were unable to fulfil its purpose correctly. After seeing the film, some aquarium owners released their pet fish into the ocean, but failed to release them into the correct oceanic habitat, which introduced species that are harmful to the indigenous environment, a practice that is harming reefs worldwide.

SAVING THE MARINE ECOSYSTEM

Saving the marine ecosystem won't take any extra step than saving the terrestrial ecosystem. Human developmental goals are important to be fulfilled but are conflicting with the developmental goals of the other creatures of the earth. This leads to a competitive interaction between humans and other organisms which proves to be detrimental for both the competing groups sooner or later. At an initial stage competitive exclusion of the competitively weaker group take place (which here is generally the other organism competing with the Human because humans are thought to be more advanced than most of the discovered present species on the earth), but later on the competitively stronger group also faces the threat (here, Humans are also affected by the biodiversity losses).

So, to cope up with this situation of competition, we need to adopt the principle of competitive co-existence, which will select a middle path to synchronize the living of both the competing groups together. For co-existence, both the group need to compromise. In today's environment, it is found that humans are reluctant to compromise as a result the other species of the earth are forced to compromise more, with their resources.

The Humans need to change, to save the earth otherwise, in later times they would have to regret for their actions in the present. The humans need to reduce greatly (not asking to completely stop) the emission of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. This will lead to a reduction in rates of ocean acidification and ocean warming. There needs to be strict rules to not dump garbage in oceans or any water bodies.

Many readers would think that these work needs to be done in the large scale which the govt. and large organization would do but you need to change your thinking. Large changes require small initiatives. If each one contributes for the cause, then only a larger change can be brought. Govt. can only make people aware but unless people start changing themselves no Govt. can bring about a larger change.
