Delimitation was a word that had always fascinated Sarah. It was a term she had learned in her social studies class and it referred to the process of defining and demarcating the boundaries of electoral constituencies.

Sarah lived in a small town in the countryside, where the people were friendly and the air was fresh. Every year, the government would conduct a delimitation exercise to redraw the boundaries of the constituencies in order to ensure that each citizen had an equal say in the electoral process.

Sarah was always curious about how this process worked and she often asked her teacher questions about it. One day, her teacher decided to take her and a few of her classmates on a field trip to the capital city to see the delimitation process in action.

As they arrived at the government building, Sarah couldn't contain her excitement. She had always dreamed of seeing the inner workings of government and this was her chance.

The group was led into a large room where a team of officials was working on a map of the country. They were using colored markers to draw lines around different areas, dividing them into distinct electoral districts.

Sarah watched in fascination as the officials explained the process to them. They told them about how they used population data and other factors to determine the size and shape of each district, ensuring that every citizen had an equal say in the electoral process.

As the day came to a close, Sarah couldn't stop thinking about what she had seen. She knew that the delimitation process was an important part of democracy and she was grateful to have had the opportunity to learn more about it.

As she walked back to the bus with her classmates, Sarah felt a sense of pride and determination. She knew that she wanted to be a part of the process one day, helping to ensure that every citizen had an equal say in the decisions that impacted their lives.
