Curse For Life

5-year-old Revan asked his brother, Abraham, "What is the Food chain?"  

Abraham, delighted to be provided with an opportunity to explain his story weaving skills, began," This begins like this...... Once there was a plant. One day, The plant thought to itself while the grasshopper went on munching it, 'Outch', Disgusting grasshopper!". It was really very painful! So it cursed the grasshopper"Someday you will also be eaten mercilessly by a bird, and then you will know my pain!" The grasshopper didn't even hear a subtle whisper of this, it was the thought of the plant.

Fattened with food it went on walking! Suddenly a bird saw the grasshopper. It swooped down, caught the insect, and gobbled it up! The grasshopper felt terribly helpless, it cursed the bird again, and as history repeats itself, it was the same curse!

 Then the bird was chirping happily. But when she was about to fly away, a huge snake caught it, injured it, and ate it. The injured bird cursed the snake to be eaten mercilessly by a bird again! The Snake went on and rested. From the sky, it saw a shape looking towards him! It was an eagle, it caught it with its pointed claws and flew away. The hurt snake cursed it to die! Many days later the eagle died out of hunger!

The bacterial colony thought that it would provide a good meal and slowly digested it. This is how the world sustains itself, and this is what is called the FOOD CHAIN!"

Revan stared at him, dumbstruck! Then he bashed him"Silly, I wanted the definition!", and he continued writing his test paper!
