Great opportunity for me to recollect my school memories.

I was a very silent boy in my school. Plucking words out of my mouth was a herculean task for my parents let alone teachers. I used to sit in the last bench alone trying to avoid talks with students. Trust me I neither had interest nor mood in attending school. I used to hate going to school.

There were instances when I tried to run away from class only to be caught hold by my teachers. They used to advise me to speak and mingle with everyone. But I was getting exhausted. I was fortunate enough to have some worthy friends, who understood me and trusted me. Because of them, I started going to school. I sat with them without the teacher's permission. I was reprimanded and was made to sit with others. It hurt me a lot. Teachers intention was clear, she wanted me to gel with everyone. That is not at all wrong.

If we think from the world's perspective, we got to mingle with everyone, which helps boost our confidence and pays rich dividends when we start working. There are always few people, whose brain is wired differently. They simply can't accept social norms, not because they are arrogant, because they need alone time to recharge. That's how their brain functions. Not a great childhood memory for sure but I feel it's worth sharing.
