Back……..But With A Tiny Wound

Hello. You probably don’t remember me. Let me refresh your mind. I am the royal Persian cat who was telling you about my weird, overreacting but ok owners who named me Peppermint. Today started off just like any other day. I woke my human parents up, meowed at them to take me for a walk on the terrace, got a generous serving of Gravy and Salsa wet food, and then pretty much lazed around.

 My human sister, Anu woke up and played with me for some time. I curled up in my cat bed and she went to the hall. Now, all I can tell you is that my ear roughly scraped a sharp corner. A tiny tuft of fur fell off along with a tiny bit of skin. This wasn’t a big deal at all. I went into the hall and brushed against Anu’s legs.

The moment she saw me, she started loudly calling my human mother to come to take a look at my ear. They kept carrying me and examining my ear. Anu started freaking out when she saw blood coming out of my wound. She kept fussing over it, which frankly, was pointless. After all, it was a tiny wound and didn’t hurt at all.

Every time I passed my mother, she would coo to me, asking me if I got hurt. Well, she already knew the answer (yes). A few hours later Anu and my mother smeared some kind of white cream on my ear. It felt like slime. I just ignored everyone and slept for hours.

Humans will always overreact if their pets get hurt. My advice is: Ignore and snooze.
