NO FOR THIS SUMMER" the straight shout wakes me up. The very morning quarrels echoed the walls of our house. It's my Dad to Mom. It's a summer holiday. Means time to visit Grandma in her wood house. I wake Annah, my elder beside me on the bed. She then got the condition of our house. We wish we going there. Because it's our special holiday of the year. It seems to have vanished away. "You go on your company trip, but we won't stay home and don't ask you to come" Mom yelled. Brings smiles to our faces. "Who cares" Dad shuts the door and went out with his bag. Annah gives hi-fi. Landline phone rings call from the wood house.

Hello Mama..., Mom answers. Yes ma, pick them up at the bus stop. We have works so I sent them alone. We are floating in ecstasy. We can't even wait to hear. Rushed to the bathroom. We brush and bathe; get ready to pack things. Our room door opens. We hide things under the bed and back to bed. "AREN'T YOU UP YET?" Mom yelled. We got up. Pack up your thing. You guys are gonna visit granny. Get ready on time for the bus. The door shuts. We get back to packing up things under the bed. She got her book, Miss. Yu Na launched on the cultural, and I packed the trophy I won for cultural. MOOOOMMM... we call and get down to the living room with our bags.

The dining table has arranged with two cups of milk and two bowls of chocos. We had mom drops us up at the bus stop after taking a class on traveling alone on the bus, about strangers, tickets, seats, rights, and restrictions. Thank God Annah got to hear a lot being elder. We arrive at the bus stop. Waited for minutes and the bus arrived. Mom sends off us. She has on the phone with granny until we reach there. There we go. The view of the city starts to fade and the village seems out now.

Everything there is so pleasant and fresh. The wind, breeze, views, sounds, and even fragrance in the air. It's a different world. Yes, I've been coming here every year. But this time I sense. I enjoyed everything I saw on the road. The Kids playing in the mud, elders are forming the field, trees are lined up aside the road welcoming us, and the flowers are smiling.

"Hey, my little girl" grandma has excited to see us coming home. We run to hug grandma. She takes us to the wood house. This time, there are so many changes made for us coming. This is gonna be great. I shout. It's almost lunchtime and we can't wait to eat her feast. She prepared so many varieties of food and side dishes such as rice, soup, juice, a variety of pickles, etc. We are full. It's out story time. Of course who else would say no to having a feast and a real-life story before the nap. This is a kind of heaven. So I love granny's wood house.

"Once there was a time when people are cursed to death", the story starts we are on the lap of granny. " why we're they cursed granny? Asked I. Who cursed them? Asked Annah. Who would else than God? Granny said. The story continues. People had been continuously affected by unidentified diseases. They are dying enormously. Also, the symptoms of the disease took a long way to identify. Later, the scientists and the researchers identified the virus and named it "Covid-19". People die everywhere around the world amid time to identify the virus. It had spread through the air. On one side, the doctors and scientists were creating the antidote. Half of the world was wiped away. Countries like America, China, India, Brazil, France, and hundreds more. Schools, bus stops, train stations, colleges, and marriage halls were the hospitals.

Doctors sacrificed their life to treat patients. Many children lost their parents, siblings, and mom's lost their husbands and children. Many lost many. Also, there came so many volunteers help, homeless people. They sponsored food, clothes, medicines, etc. And the story is long-lasting. Isn't it a curse of God? Asked Grandma. We nod as we have amazed. That seems so scientific hence it's a curse of God. Besides, granny said an interesting thing the pregnant moms we're named their newborns and twins after the virus. Boy babies were called Covid and the girl babies were called Carona. Those were the English and scientific names of the virus. Was my grandma living in the history? I wonder. "Ma'am, Pooooost" the postman rings the bell. Granny left Annah on the floor as she fall asleep. Granny comes with an envelope having money inside, sent by Mom. "Ah, I too got one to show you, granny". I run to bring my trophy.
