A Day In Mirzapur

Shrey Mishra lives in the city of Mirzapur in Gango locality. His parents, wife and two small kids live with him. He is a common man and is a businessman. He has a flourishing carpet business just like Akhandanand Tripathi of Mirzapur series, a web series presently having much hype and very popular. Recently the second season of this series was released.

Shrey has also watched the two seasons of Mirzapur series and likes it a lot. It's a crime thriller series primarily shot in Mirzapur with some of the shooting done in the nearby cities of Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Lucknow, Raebareli, Gorakhpur and Varanasi.

Now the story goes like this. Shrey has a carpet business in Mirzapur. During the shooting of the Mirzapur series, there was a requirement of fifty carpets for the sets. The production unit approached Shrey, who readily agreed for the deal. He himself went to the shooting site for delivering the order.

By his sheer luck, he got a chance to meet some actors of this series including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Divyendu Sharma, Vijay Varma, Harshita Gaur. He managed to get some snaps with some of them.

As he was returning, he chanced met a childhood friend of his, who was now living in Lucknow but had come to Mirzapur for some work.

Both friends talked for some time. Then Shrey invited his friend Rakesh for dinner and came back home.

Rakesh kept his word and came for dinner. He shared their childhood memories with Sanjay and Vinita, Shrey's children and all of them had a good time. Shrey's parents also recollected how Rakesh was the most mischievous of the lot, breaking glasses of the window panes of almost all the houses of the locality during their cricket matches.

Then Rakesh bid them goodbye and went to his uncle's house where he was staying. And promised to bring his family with him the next time he visits Mirzapur.

Thus the day was both hectic and adventurous for Shrey Mishra. He closed a deal, met cine stars and his friend, Rakesh. Overall it was a good day for him!
