A Child's Prospects

6.19 PM , Monday, 06th April, 2020

Hey, I am Dhruv, a student of class IX from a school in Guwahati.

It was indeed a very good day, to begin with as our classes were going to start from today. I felt very happy to receive today's routine from my new school. First lesson was conducted by my class teacher. Mrs. Jayeeta Kar, She is going to teach us English. During first period ma'am introduced herself. She briefed about term-I syllabus and asked about situation in our place. This was the fist time when I attended an online class. My parents helped me to organize this session. Mrs. Jayeeta Kar, our class teacher conducted the 2nd period too. She invited all the parents to join the class during this period. My parents had a few queries which were clarified by our class teacher ma'am. She is a smart teacher. She is a very fluent and articulate teacher. Uday Shankar Dev sir is our Hindi Teacher. He took our 3rd period. He briefed about the Hindi syllabus for term I. 4th and the last period for today was very interesting, engaging and entertaining. He is Mr. Gautam Deka, our Physics Teacher. He taught us the chapter "Motion". Everything became very easy to understand as his explanation was very convincing. He is knowledgeable teacher. I was happy to see my new classmates.

I went to learn History and Civics in the evening to Mr. K. Dilip. He is the Principal of CMCL Vidya Bharati school, my old school. In civics we discussed about Democracy in the contemporary world. I was assigned few tasks that were writing few key words, Key points and explore the famous speech in the chapter. Then in History, we learnt and tried to understand the causes of French revolution and the society during that time.

I did some yoga in the morning. I spent some time watching my favorite TV serial "Ramayana" and news. Today I had my favorite food Rajma.

Overall it was a pleasant day and moral of the story is Modi ji starts the school as early as possible. We are having very difficult time attending everything online. We want to go out and play, make new friends share and care for others. We are the children and future of our country.
