You Are Nobody's Child
You Are Nobody's Child
Born and isolated in this world
Is what God has gifted her
She screams she cries
No one to listen to her pain
She feels shattered
Her teardrops
As white as a snowball
Falls over a pebble
On the rock on which she sits
Gives a call to God
Why can't I fly
Why have you not given me wings
Why I am so alone
On the island of betrayers
She thinks she is nobody's child
She strived to live
To overcome her curse
Unaware of motherly love
Her life so dark n dull
Moving slowly with the dark clouds
That brings only sorrow
And never rains
She has no friends to play with
Her heart jumps to join them
She stops her soul speaks
You are nobody's child
She craves for memories
Devoid of a happy childhood
Left Only to grieve and exploit
Even her dreams don't speak
She sits near the shore and broken
Down afar she watches a balloon flying
Which doesn't know which way to go
She runs fast to grab it
But can't run so due to bruises on her feet
She stumbles and continues in the endless direction
Until she lands in a deep ocean
She is drowning, she calls for help
No one hears her ailing voice
She bids adieu to the world
Absorbing millions of sorrows in her heart
She prays to the Lord
For her soul speaks
Never bare anyone the life
Of nobody's child
