Abstract Drama Others

Who am I ?

Who am I ?

I am the mirror with fogged breath,

A truth half-whispered beneath a sigh.

I wore the veil of love, stitched tight

With secrets too sharp to let fly.

I am the ink that never dried,

A letter rewritten with trembling hands.

You kissed the paper, swore it true—

Never knowing it slipped like sands.

I am the storm behind the silk,

Thunder quiet beneath my skin.

You held my hand through borrowed peace,

Blind to the war I held within.

I am the lighthouse built on lies,

Beaming trust through shattered glass.

Each beam a tale I forged for you,

Each one a mask I let you pass.

I am the echo in your bed,

A ghost of vows I could not keep.

The laughter you loved was rehearsed,

The tears were secrets sewn too deep.

You knew my name, but not my truth—

I’m the garden with no root to show.

Petals bloom in pretty deceit,

But the soil has stories you’ll never know.

I told you I was sun and shore,

A haven calm, no cause to fear.

But love, I was the undertow,

The danger smiling crystal-clear.

So now I ask: Who am I?

A wife? A myth? A woven lie?

Affirmed, portrayed, then realized—

The truth is just the part I hide.
