Where Are You God?
Where Are You God?
In the vast expanse of the universe untold,
I seek for you, oh mysterious divine.
Whispers of your existence, stories so old,
Some believe in you, while others decline.
God, where are you? I seek you everywhere,
Whispers of your existence float in the air,
In every crevice of this earth, they say you're there.
Are you in the gentle breeze that softly blows?
Or in the laughter of a child at play?
In the petals of a flower that gracefully grows,
Or in the love that guides us every day?
Are you in the small things, the whispers of the wind?
Or in the hearts of humanity, where love is pinned?
Some say you dwell in stones, in friendships that bind,
Are you real, or just a figment of the mind?
Some say you dwell in the hearts of us all,
In the kindness we show, in the bonds we share.
In every act of compassion, big or small,
In the beauty of the world, beyond compare.
But where do you hide when darkness falls?
When the cries of the oppressed fill the air?
Do you watch in silence as humanity calls,
Or do you intervene, showing you care?
Sceptics question your presence, demand proof,
They cry out, "Where are you
? Is this all a spoof?"
For every Draupadi, a Sakha Krishna stands aloof,
For every Arjun, a Madhav offers the truth.
In moments of darkness, when faith wanes,
In the heart of every believer, your light remains,
For every Hanuman, a Prabhu Shri Ram sustains,
Each Bharti, each Shridhar, to Vaishnodevi's shrine, attains.
In moments of doubt, when faith disappears,
You reveal yourself, your presence profound.
Oh God, in the depths of my soul I seek,
To unravel the mystery of your being.
In every sunrise, in every mountain peak,
In every ray of hope, your essence gleams.
Prove your innocence, remove all doubt,
Let your presence be felt, let your light shine.
In every heartache, in every joyous shout,
In every moment, in every design.
For your name carries magic, a power so grand,
It soothes all sorrows, it banishes fear.
In every blooming flower, in every grain of sand,
In every sunrise, your presence is clear.
So show this world, in all your grace,
That you are real, in every way.
In every living being, in every place,
In every dawn,
in every new day.
In your name, O God, magic will sprout
