What Is He?

Rich, richer, richest,

Poor, poorer, poorest,

    

King, Emperor Bows down before.

Pauper, beggars look down at.

 

A Legend one knows not anything about,

A Legend one can know nothing about.

 

He gives out of what He has,

What He has is nothing.

 

Globe He carries,

Not many can carry their World.

 

Generosity He seeks,

Generous He is.

 

Personifying Happiness He is,

He also personifies sorrow.

 

What is He? My thoughts betray me.

Money brings Happiness, Family preserves.

No Money, no Family, Happiness prevails.

If, good begets good He knows not.

 

He is the conqueror of the maze we call Life,

An imprisoned conqueror He is,

A slave of the maze He knows all paths of.

 

Fastidious He is,

What pleases a soul who isn’t ever disconsolate?

 

Tolerance is the lesson,

Maker teaches through His personage.

 

A Mendicant is what He is,

A  Panhandler, precisely I mean.

 

He is au courant, He is nifty,

He is beautiful at heart.

 

Hearts, humans see not,

Visage, He can show not.

 

Grinded are These beings,

In the circle of Life,

 

Leaving Nature with sodden eyes.

Bidding adieu.
