WARM WINTER DAYS
WARM WINTER DAYS

What a joy the hazy mornings are!
Smiles on every face, obscure in sight
The green world, veiled in a thick snow blanket
The misty morning, leaving glass pearls on every leaf
And dew drops on each leaf turning into miniature globes.
Every heart longing for warmth and affection
Little babies yearning for a warm hug
Weaklings in comfort never leaving their dwellings
Those wrapped up in sweaters
Sitting cosily by the warming embers.
The charm of the snowy days is a feast forever,
But forget not the wintry night of the vagrants around,
Who, under the vast azure sky above,
Spend the chilly nights shivering,
In the hope of welcoming warm hearts.
The moneyed lives lie as snug as bugs in a rug
Under the cozy, secure blanket, in bliss.
Vagabonds lie awake through the numbing nights
Like frozen lakes awaiting a sunny day.
Give them not a cold shoulder but a warm heart open.
