Wailing Rain
Wailing Rain

It rained hard
And
She wailed harder.
The puddles pictured
What she was
Pressing hard
To forget.
The thunder roared
To remind her
How her voice
Used to sound
When she used
To talk to him.
Him, whom she
Had buried under
Her priorities list.
But he rose often,
Specifically each time
The dark clouds
Enveloped the sun.
And the sun,
Out of desolation
Poked out all
The love mist
Packed in the
Dirty looking clouds.
