Life struggles come in different ways

Some drift by, some linger, and some stay for forever

But they come to all,

None can evade it.

 

Some blame circumstances, and become a victim of it

Some think other people are responsible for their unhappiness

But, the wisest know that the battle is with them selves

Which everyone faces,

None can evade it.

 

Setbacks may not deter us

With the arms and ammunition, we are instilled with

Determination, focus, and resilience

Carve the path further,

But, none can evade it.

 

If we dare to hope, love, and heal

Maybe we could make history

In living compassionately

That could be free of seeking success 

And see if we can evade it.
