True illusion
True illusion
Equality, fraternity, liberty and freedom,
In reality, experienced seldom.
Value of democracy lost in pages,
Of books, read by Indians of all ages.
Transparency is quite hard to be traced,
Where the authorities are double faced.
Eutopian vision before the elections,
Later, a dismal figure, a dejection.
People where are intentionally kept at distance
from knowledge, just to enable party's sustenance.
Where criminals and authorities walk hand in hand,
Where would the future of that country land?
From politics, where noble souls stay away,
That place awaits in vain for the day
The day when citizens grow and could globally compete,
And those showing moving pictures promise deplete!
