Père parfait

With each passing year I do realize, 

How amazing it is to have you in my life. 

I know you love me more than you show, 

There are tons of things that to you I owe. 

No wonder, you are a daughters' pride, 

I'm here to express, I no longer can hide. 

For even though I've nothing much special in me, 

I've always been treated more than I deserve to be. 

I've heard people say I resemble you in many ways, 

But still I think I've a lot to learn, so I must raise. 

Getting back to why I began to write this ode,

It's to wish you a wonderful year with joy overflowed. 

I am wishing you a very happy and blessed life ahead, 

May prosperity and harmony around you does spread!
