Treacherous Love

You meant whole world to me,

We were so perfect together.

I don’t understand what went wrong between us,

I can’t accept the fact that you left me for someone else.

Why did you shatter all my hopes and dreams?

Why did you change the meaning of love?

Why did you play with my feelings?

Why did you make fake promises?

Your betrayal has broken me completely,

I feel so helpless from heart,

That I don’t have energy to scream,

I don’t know how I will overcome from this heartache.

The unique tender bond which I once had for you,

Is dead now burying all those memorable beautiful moments.

I am in dilemma after this mistake in selecting you as my partner,

Whether I can again trust someone or not.

The broken pieces of my heart are blaming me,

For making them cry in pain,

Every night my wet pillow is holding me responsible,

For trusting people like you easily.

Sooner or later, I know I will overcome this pain,

I wouldn’t give up hope of getting miracles in life,

I will always remember you as a bitter experience,
