Trapped
Trapped
Morning is here,
Silly sunshine's everywhere.
First THEY used to look at the sun and her clouds,
Now they get up when I beep loud.
They walk on the roads,
Not dreaming or thinking,
But worrying about the loads.
Replying to the world through me,
Hardly the beauty around they truly see.
They work on their desks all day long,
Looking at me from time to time,
All his friends are here,
They don't share any memories or stories.
But all they do is keep me near.
That young girl there,
Looks at others with envy and strain,
Judging herself and increasing her pain.
Its raining outside but all they do is run and hide,
Not trying to get wet,
With me by their side.
They spend their money, they spend it all,
Trying to get the better of me,
The beauty of reality they hardly see.
Everything looks better 'Filtered' up,
We hardly ever talk beyond "HI, Wassup?"
It is great how I fit in,
Slowly becoming a part of them.
I am the change they can't invade,
Even though they are the ones by whom I was made.
You know me too,
I rule you too.
I'll be your only friend,
I am your Phone,
And you're trapped with me,
Till the very END.
