To Hatch

The dusk was knocking on the sky

The road was crowdless free

My palm was on your one

I loved to walk with thee. 

Birds were returning home

Wood was darkening though

I felt so effortless calm

You were with me, so. 

First and last kiss was that

With our breath beholding stroke

That was an ultimate dream

I didn't want still that broke. 

That was the last journey we made

So close to feeling each other's essence

Life took a pragmatic u-turn

We are living in only deep reminiscence. 

But the dusk the light

The kiss that tender touch

I kept in the iron chest of my heart

In my old age again to hatch..
