To a loved one...
To a loved one...
The year strikes another one,
Time is on a run,
In the world's hurried pushing and pulling,
Our lives have been gushing.
Time is a friend and foe,
As, we leave behind moments of joy and sorrow,
We rubbed our noses raw to the grind.
Looking back we find,
Times now olden,
And times that were golden,
We find the times,
when somewhere inside we knew,
That fate could be lovely or askew.
We often wait for the right days,
Even if we don't know what tomorrow lays,
It's the worst that we fear,
I wish you were near,
For only our souls have truly found,
Our deep desire for time to be wound.
I hope this time is around the corner to rendezvous,
Because I really miss you....
