My first childhood friend

The little companion of my life

The person who was part of everything I did

A person who I know is always by my side.

He speaks no word, he never did

All he did was put a giggle or annoy me to bits.

Sometimes driving me crazy

But at times someone to talk

Though a little younger to me

But always there for sure.

Years have passed

It seems we speak little or nothing at all

But am sure about one thing

He will be with me when I call.

It's a bond which seems silent

It's a bond of a lifetime

It's a bond of trust and understanding

As it will always be just mine.

A sacred thread I tie on you

Is just a way to say

You are God's gift to me

Which I wrap in love this day.

Words do not express all 

That I would like to say

This a precious bond 

Which I thank God for

And celebrate everyday.
