The Writer's Pen
The Writer's Pen
No matter how arid,
This pen would never go rancid,
For like a soldier and a gun,
So is our daily bond.
Like the padlock and the key,
Or maybe, the military and khaki;
It is an indispensable part of me,
Its heart and soul listen to me.
And as I, in this life breathe,
With it, shall I each day fire a shot.
That will not seize a breath,
But to the left men, would shower a boundless of hopes...
