The winter beach saga
The winter beach saga
The gentle breeze playing with my ruffled hair
Making my dress flutter here and there
The howling sea crashing its waves at my feet
Weaves its magic that makes me greet
Tugging boats that ride the galloping waves
Playful feet pattering at the cushioned waves
Tender hands busy at work, trying to build a fort
Mischievous tides trying to make them float
Cheers and shrieks all around the chilly bay
People basking in the fun and sun say
An idle day where the mind longs for rest
A breezy bright day where the heart wants jest........
The silvered waves greet the mossy rocks
Tenderly lacing the velvety brooks
One little dip in the ice cold water
Will surely awaken the slumbered laughter
Sparkled eyes adore the wonderous sights
Longing heart wishes to join the rites
