The Will
The Will

I pass by various roads,
Some were smooth,
Some were rocky and
Some were swampy.
I carry the pressure and battle the friction,
While comforting others.
I do get hurt in my journey
And often get injured,
Some times rusted nails hurt me,
Some times the thorns betray me.
With patches and pain, I continue my journey.
I may reach the destination late,
But my destiny depends on my will power,
Not with whom I come in contact.
The poem signifies about self-acceptance in life by ignoring the external world, it's one's will power that decides a journey called spirit.
