The Unturned Direction

The Unturned Direction

When the sampling was planted in the moist brown soil,

She was promised to grow into a dense green plant with happiness around,

She wanted to grow up to be a white lovely Lily,

All bright and kind, she just wanted to shine some love around,

She turned around and wanted to grow that way,

There isn't much sunlight that way, is all what she ever heard in the day,

She turned around, grew up the other way,

Hoping for a Lily, she grew up to be a sunflower much to her dismay,

All around, she saw all other sunflowers surround,

To get a glimpse of the flower which was never to be found,

Alas, she saw a lily, spreading the love and the shine around,

In the direction, she failed to turn around.
