The Story Teller

It has a sparkle, it has a depth

It says nothing but does express.

Black, brown, blue or grey

It tells us a lot in its own special way.

A whole life's experience it carries with it

If you make it happy you see how beautifully it lits.

I have seen it flow, losing its glow

Making me think there is some sadness below.

It makes us see through all that is not clear

At times I see it rolling down as a tear.

You may not say a word

You may remain cold

But there are stories that only

Our two little eyes unfold.
