The Starry Night
The Starry Night
Stars blooming here and there
In the sky, dark and bear
By the grace of clouds tame and rare
Twinkling as ever, steady and dare
Against a backdrop of mere black
What do these tiny little globes lack
Despite their sheer size
Appearing along with ones held dear
Behold a golden disk at the sky
Ever gentle, calm and bright
Surpassing all that's found around
Yet so lonely in a starry night, cold
