The Star
The Star

It fell;
Like a drop of water
On the expanse of a sea.
Albeit beautiful, sweet chaos,
It was destruction.
It raged;
Across the Prussian-tinged sky,
Lit by millions of stars.
Seems ridiculously stunning,
The death of something bright.
It dropped;
Dipping between fluff,
And the starry dusk.
Felt peaceful,
The ruin of a source of light.
It rushed;
Along a plethora of bright dots
That crowded the sky that winter night.
Like a shining star,
Shooting across the dark.
