The Search For Happiness
The Search For Happiness
Look within yourself when times are blue,
Happiness is an entity that lives in you.
Heaven looks smaller than a child's smiling face,
What's true happiness is a point of debate.
While searching for happiness,
We must take heed,
Of small, wonderful moments,
That is lost in speed.
Allow the blossoms of bliss to bloom.
And seas of tranquility to groom.
The breeze of sorrow will go away soon.
Leaving you in awe of the clear sight of the moon.
Comfort those,
Who is grieving in poverty and illness?
Happiness is,
Restoring faith in humanity and goodness.
While passing through the crossroads of destiny,
Make decisions of your own.
Don't be stuck in a web of life,
When consequences are well known.
Beautiful in our fragility,
All of us, including you.
No, you won't drown in the darkness,
Happiness will come home to save you.
Through the tiny little opening in the window,
Happiness arrives in form of morning rays.
To spread its arms,
And light up our world in different ways.
Happiness is a treasure,
Different from all the rest.
True happiness is in faith
That resides inside your chest.
