The Rescue.
The Rescue.
Wanting to strike a balance,
She holds the scale,
Her conscience in one,
Innocent cries in the other,
Her survival depends on the scale!
She knows, she bleeds, and, she knows them too!
But the pain is numb in the urge to thrive!
The payday comes,
She shares her profit with them,
They all laugh and giggle and get back to work.
And then she declares...
In a week,
She is giving someone she considers her own,
Beautiful, innocent, in her early twenties,
Forever.
For the last time.
For a surplus,
So that she can rescue everyone else,
And finally, keep the weighing scale down!
