The Old Year Turns Its Leaf
The Old Year Turns Its Leaf
The old year turns it's leaf for
The new to follow.
Memories small and big are tucked in.
They wait for the fortunate one.
The hand, deserving one that would open.
The undiscovered moments edges by.
Posterity wold flip through, a smile here
A guff there,
Will they be able to discern.
The loss of a dear one, the prank of a little one.
The tears of separation of a mother or the
Harsh reason by a brother.
Peppered and salted would the seconds be.
The new year will trudge on paths not taken.
No remorse, no regret.
We close the book with another sigh.
Seasons come and pass by.
Lord Almighty when He from his heaven looks down and says..
'Thou shall meet your DESTINY.'
Let us pray and wait for the best.
Adieu bygone
