The Making Of Man
The Making Of Man
Honesty, when the world makes you
Want to deceive and lie, be honest.
Honesty is your shield and spear.
When lies shield, honesty pierces through.
Courage, find it and hold it,
When fear surrounds you, ignite it.
Let courage shows you your path,
Make courage your guiding star.
Wisdom, let it governs your steps.
Seek wisdom, never stop grasping.
Yearn for more, for you never have
Enough of it, not a gist of all there is.
Knowledge, it will grant you powers,
Powers that will enable you to hold still,
To stand against the mightiest man.
Knowledge is the most precious wealth.
Ignorance, detest it, it's never good.
Stay away from it,never does good.
What makes the kings fall is ignorance.
Slowly it creeps, beware of it.
Greed, it is your greatest foe.
Learn to be content with what you have.
Covet not, another man's shoe won't fit.
What your cobbler made is for you.
Pride, be not so much proud
That you become deaf to the world,
But also become not deaf to yourself.
Balance your pride, it's good you do.
Hatred, it will eventually blind you.
May it never consume you, engulf you.
It is a beast that feasts on love.
It will rid and take away your loves.
Pay heed to what I say,
So that as a man, happy you may
