The Little Witch
The Little Witch
With wishy-washy words,
The witch spoke her tale,
Of how she was once trapped,
With a snake, dog and snail.
She said her horrid story,
With expressions packed whispers,
Oh! How she hoped she learned,
The witchcraft that had her faint!
She then told about the snake,
That crawled around in zig-zag,
Frightening her and the animals,
For reasons unknown so far.
She then told the doctor,
That the snail never moved,
But the reply, she got, had her smile go aloof,
The snail, moved but slowly, as if a sloth.
She then shared, how she was scared,
Of the thunderous voice of the dog,
She asked the neighbouring vet,
Could the dogs be a pet?
What she heard, came as a shock to her,
As the vet replied a yes!
With all the thoughts about the human world,
Which was different from hers,
She ran to her mother,
To tell her, about this new adventurous quest...
