The last wish
The last wish
We say we get life once,
but I feel we get life every morning we wake up.
Death, we get only once,
and it stays forever.
After that, we become a small photo in a corner.
Sometimes I quietly envy the one who will have his own small space after death —
under a flowering tree,
where monsoon will give him its first rain,
winter its first snow,
and butterflies will visit his flowers.
It's not about visitors.
It's about having a place, even after.
This is life, I think.
